Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday after a morning at the outlets. Ordered the street tacos (one order of the pork and one of the bbq steak so we could share). They were both very good, although the taco on the steak tacos fell apart. Flavor was good, the meat was tender. The beans were pinto and not the... More

my recent trip to the cuckoos nest restaurant was absolutely horrible, I ordered nachos with scallions and tomatoes with the spicy beef on the side. The food arrived within minutes literally which was a bad sign to me...how can they cook it so quickly?? The cheese was barely melted on the nachos, which I was hard pressed to find the... More

I live locally and love Mexican food. It is an ongoing disappointment that this restaurant is so very poor. I have given it many tries, but it seems each visit is worse than the one before. Just go to Taco Bell unless you you are near another place in Middletown, or Branford. I have lived i California and had some... More

Your cuckoo if you eat here. Most bland food I've ever eaten. Eat at Taco Bell it's cheaper, cleaner and more authentic.

The food lacked any flavor. Was greatly disappointed with the service as well. Even the chips were stale.

We recently moved to Westbrook and were quite happy to find a Mexican Restaurant in close proximity. We sat at the bar and ordered Fajitas. They were just OK. To be truthful, I liked Chili's Fajitas better. We left saying "That was OK, but didn't do anything to make us come back". Well, come back we did. After all, we... More

My family and I actually visited this resturant for the first time this afternoon for lunch. It is MLK day so everyone was home and off of school. The six of us decided to give it a try since we were in the area. We love to try new places and really enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine so we were excited.... More

Live in the area and have been here several times over the years. It had steadily declined and we stopped going. We heard they hired a new chef and decided to give it another try as it's the only Mexican resturant in close proximity. Yikes ! , nothing changed. Well the service was good , considering the poor waitress had... More

Great food and service. Nice Mexican restaurant with very good food and atmosphere. Don’t know why they make you have 50 characters in one of these reviews.
