Disappointing

Used to love food here but now food lacks seasoning and interest. Beef in tacos etc. should be shredded not ground...yuck. Even the guacamole had little savor.

We went there as a family, had horrible service, and the worst Tex Mex I have ever had in my life. I wouldn't go there again even if you paid me. The food is bad. The service is worse. The management didn't care that we didn't enjoy our night out. Find a different spot to eat--

We stopped here on a whim. It was very good. Had a great Monday night deal with the meals free for kids. Margarita was delicious. I would definitely return.

Went to a party here a few months ago. The food at cuckoo's nest used to be ok but now its inedible. I have never in my life seen a Mexican restaurant put American cheese on nachos. Just gross. The house margaritas are nothing to write home about, unless you like cheap tequila

This is a decent Tex- Mex restaurant with an above average menu. The chips and salsa are a freebie and are excellent. The atmosphere is quite authentic and some of the tables are in nice little nooks and crannies. The draft beer, particularly the Dos Equis, is wonderfully cold. The food offerings are what you would expect and are consistently... More

Got the Acapulco salad and it was very nice. Very fresh and tasty. The staff was great and prices were good. I'll stop back by next time I'm in town.

Avoid at all costs for dinner except for cocktails. Appetizers passable drinks a cep table but dinners definitely to be avoided. Don't quite understand the crowds.

This restaurant can easily be overlooked when visiting the Westbrook/Old Saybrook area. However, you would be missing one of our favourite restaurants in the area. We have been going for a number of years, and the dinners have always been well made, delicious and reasonably priced. The seafood taco is a particular favourite. When you are on the coast, fresh... The service was great. The food was okay. I guess we expected more from this place just because of how busy it was every time we drove by.
