Best grinders ever!

Today we stopped for lunch at T.J.'s (clearly a place known and loved by the locals). We had meatball, chicken parm and eggplant parm grinders on bread freshly imported that day from a special bakery in NYC. Nick, our waiter, told me what made the eggplant so delicious (baked not fried) and the... read more

Been here three times for dinner. Casual, friendly. Small, not quiet, but not overly noisy. A little hungry to famished menu items. Greek salad with gyro meat, baked scallops, chicken tenders, cheeseburger, Caesar salad, onion rings, specialty pizza, dinner specials, all excellent. Attentive, nice, flexible staff. Reasonable wait for food, given that the place was crowded each visit. Would prefer... More

Based upon my brother's recommendation, we went to TJ's. Bad move. Disappointed. (Brother worked in a NY pizzeria) I am a pizza snob. I admit it readily. Drove up and it was crowded. Thought that was a good sign. We had phoned in a take out order for 2 pizzas, a cheese pie and a clam pie. General, while the... More

I don't know what is going on with this place lately but the small flies/nats are very annoying while eating. The food is great and the staff is very personable but when your sitting in a booth and have naps everywhere it is very annoying. Been here a month ago and the same thing. Also - don't bother ordering a... More

My family and I enjoy ordering takeout here about once a week. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. We all have our favorite dishes and have had the pizza, wraps, and subs which are all delicious. But my personal fav is the stuffed mushrooms! If you are in the area this is a great place to eat... We live locally and enjoy TJ's weekly. It is consistently good, the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous and the owner/family is super friendly and funny. Great pizza, salads, entrees, etc.

We live locally and are always in search of an easy night out with good food at reasonable prices. Lately that has been TJ's. Excellent service, owner chef willing to bend the menu to our daughter's tastes and generous portions. Great pizza, calamari and entries. We'll be back.

Good choice of the basics: apps, salads, sandwiches. The dinner plates and specials are a very good value, served with salad and homemade rolls with fabulous garlic oil for dipping. Our favs are the chicken pita-their take on a souvlaki , and the steak topped salad, an excellent small steak cooked to order on fresh greens with good dressing. The... More

Wow, a great place, family owned by a family that can cook. Large portions that the locals love. I had the calzone one day and then the greek salad the next. Both were outstanding. You have to try this place.
