Get wings.

Have eaten here dozens of times. Place is great. Fast service. Great food and the best wings in the state. Burgers are killer and sweet potatoes fries and cheese fries as well. Hots dogs are excellent and although I have never had one I hear the milk shakes are awesome as well.

2 sides to this American Bar and Grille...the bar side which is packed Thurs-Sat, nice relaxed atmosphere with the requisite sports on TV's. The other side is family restaurant, it's own entry and everything. No alcohol served on this side and the kitchen is in between. Standard American grill foods that are very good, generous portions, and I liked the... More

The atmosphere is fun. The menu is kind of simple (burgers, hot dogs, lobster dogs), but with tons of options for each that make them interesting and unique. The food was wonderful! We had burgers, lobster sliders, hot dogs, guacamole (with the pita chips, which are a must have). Everything tasted fresh, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Burgers were... More

Looks like a burger joint with a retro flair but the food is quality, creative and hits the spot. Try the tuna burger with some sprouts and wasabi, one might not be enough! For the price it can't be beat.

Were in town for a performance at the Kate, tried another restaurant for dinner, but they were full (who knew Old Saybrook was such a hopping place). The hostess recommended Jack Rabbit's--we were hungry, so gave it a try. Great happenstance! I had lobster shaped like a hot dog and, I think deep fried--bad for arteries but great for bliss.... As usual a great inexpensive burger ate next door in its twin a the Rabbit bar. Same food just beer can be gotten . I would put excellent but not really the nicest place I have eaten in . Food is great and it matters little on how you are dressed and good for kids
