Huge pancakes(Flips) bad coffee. All in all prety good

We stopped in today for breakfast. We had been here before for lunch and it was very good. The Philly cheese steak was great, so we went here for breakfast. The flips are massive and very good. The eggs were tastey. The home fries were seasoned but bland. The toast was very very good. Never thought... read more

Would be better if they had more room because it is packed! We had a wonderful breakfast. So many options. Their muffins are amazing and I had the country skillet. It was enough for 2 people!! And so tasty. The staff is delightful and the owner came out and said hello. We will be back.

Wonderful little place for breakfast and lunch. We also use this restaurant for catering at our office. They deliver which is a huge savings of time. Love the Dave, omelets, creme brûlée french toast for a treat. Lovely family and we enjoy doing business with them.

My family was transferred to CT and was blessed to find a great place in Old Saybrook. This gem is just down the street. You would pass right by if you didn't know to stop. They are friendly and the food is outstanding. The potatoes were a surprise at breakfast and a must have when we go. Corned beef hash... More

Spent the night at Mohegan Sun Casino and decided to have breakfast on the road. We were so happy to find Jamss! It was a super busy Sunday morning and we sat up at the bar. This allowed us to watch this family run restaurant in action - they have an open kitchen and we watched them prepare many mega-meals... More

JAMSS is one of those places I daydream about and eagerly anticipate the next time that I will eat there. I often find myself in the area but will also go out of my way to have breakfast and/or lunch there and frequently choose it over the many other local options. It's casual, comfortable, friendly atmosphere and delicious, generous portions... More

I ordered food to go from JAMSS today based on the good reviews and ended up not even eating it all and concerned for my health. As I was about to put one of the last bites of their raved about fruit bowl into my mouth, I noticed a very visible green, fuzzy mold growth on the strawberry slice resting... More

I run an employee committee that is responsible for special functions one of which is a Christmas breakfast. We employed jamss for our 2012 breakfast and it was fantastic. Eggs were perfect, homemade sausage patties bacon bagels and muffins, plenty of good food for 100 people. The next year a no brainer after our first experience. We were very disappointed.... More

How can an eating establishment have no restroom? This is a real problem. You cannot even wash your hands before eating. Friendly staff though.
