Highly, Highly Recommended!! -- but, oh, The Horror!

We often go to Tissa's for their excellent locally-made ice cream (do try the Rocky Moroccan) and for their absolutely terrific baklava (walnut or pistachio filled). Recently my wife had roasted lamb on a salad base and I had an Andalusian Burger with goat cheese and various spices: both were... read more

I've had several selections from the lunch menu and everything, without fail is fabulous! I always save half of my meal for take home to save room for the fresh and delicious ice cream! Stop in for lunch, dinner or just for a ice cream or sweet, you will not regret it (unless of course you are searching for an... More

They prepared a lunch for our 15 person cycling group of salads and sandwiches, between us we had abound half of the sandwiches on the menu, and every one of them was delicious. They made a beer and goat cheese salad that was fabulous, and a Mediterranean salad that was perfect. Great spot!

What a find! I've lived on the shoreline for nearly 30 years and never knew Tissa's existed. The owner told me they've been in business for 11 years. We're sure glad we found this unique restaurant. As others have mentioned, it doesn't look like a restaurant as it is housed in a historic pharmacy. However, once you pull into the... More

Hubby and I stopped for ice cream Friday evening. It was creamy and delicious. Some very exotic flavors that were very tasty. Saturday afternoon we wanted a quick lunch to go. This was just the place! The wrap I had was the most delicious thing I have eaten in a long time. Chicken and some sweet sauce and feta cheese... More

Stopped by for some ice cream with my family ages 12-89! The lady working in the ice cream parlor was extremely rude. My sister was looking for soft ice cream and obviously they do not feature this as they are more of a homemade, specialty place, which is fine. BUT the lady working obviously did not want to serve us... More

I had a mrouzia lamb wrap turned into a salad with lamb sausage . So delicious. He had a sandwich with fresh mozzarella and chicken , with pesto on a ciabatta. He gobbled it up fast, pretty sure loved it doesn't even come close. The couple to the side of us got tangines and I must say the 5 veg... More

The seating and atmosphere is like an ice cream shoppe which is odd for the really excellent Moroccan food they serve.

Flavorful experience. Excellent lamb! As stated, a small restaurant, best to come after the noon hour. This previous pharmacy has historical significance to the town.

The food is simply wonderful! We stayed upstairs and Cathy catered our entire weekend. Her cooking is absolutely wonderful. We had 5 meals within two days and every single one was incredible. This place is a MUST. It's perfect for couples, friends, and even family. The food has flavored that everyone will enjoy. They also have terrific ice cream! Great... More
