Nice views of Marina & River

The patio is nice little place to sit and relax but when the music starts it gets so crowded you can't move - not sure how to remedy that but the outside is always nice place to be in warmer weather. Food is so-so, not bad but pricey for what you get.

That's really my only complaint. Food is okay. Drinks are good... Can't beat this place in the summer. Service is terrible... There's one waitress there who is so bad but keeps getting rehired Disappears for what seems like a lifetime. And can't handle the large crowds. She's awful. Bartenders can be nice or really rude. I literally had to refrain... More

I wasn't quite sure how to rate this restaurant. We love it for it's music, food, location and atmosphere, but the wait times can be long, and the service can be great or seriously lack. And, while we love the music, we've found it sometimes attracts large groups who get inebriated very quickly and get loud and obnoxious. Love the... More

A great place to enjoy a meal while watching the boats dock at the local marina. They have live music most weekends and the food is very good. My husband and I enjoy the atmosphere here.

One of the few places along the Connecticut River you can dine and/or have drinks and watch this very scenic waterway. Food and prices are average, however, the view is superb. Summer afternoons with live music, can't beat that combination.

We enjoy docking our boat and stopping for food and drinks while on the river. Food always consistent, service is getting worse. Last stop we made our waitress went missing most of our dinner. We had to go ask hostess if we even had a waitress when we first sat down. Very disappointed. For the amount of money you spend... More

My husband & I went to lunch at the Back Porch to celebrate our anniversary-it's a tradition for us. The huge back porch is covered & you can see the water with boats in docks & a drawbridge from anywhere on that porch. The food is good, well priced, and the service is fabulous! We were fortunate yesterday to be... More

I have eaten here several times in the last few years and pretty much had excellent service. When I was here the beginning of the season ( only open in the summer) the food wasn't terrific bu the service was outstanding. Tonight however, left alot to be desired! When we told our waitress, Cassie, we would like to enjoy our... More

Great view and great food. Was with old friends for an overnighter, the hotel recommended the Back Porch and we were glad they did. I had the trout and it was excellent (the specialty drinks were good too). Enjoyed the dinner so much, we came back for lunch the next day where I had a turkey club- mad with fresh... More

Probably easy to find if you are familiar with the area . Plenty of parking across the street. Service was casual , indifferent and quick. Our lunch was forgettable. But the setting was very pleasant . Prices were moderate.
