I finally decided on the pork belly with cheesy grits.. It did not disappoint!! Food was amazing and can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu!! Congrats to the chef.. It's rare that I'm this excited about a restaurant!!

Wherever I go the principal objective of my journey is to eat great food. The Bee and Thistle met every expectation I could ever have had. The Inn is an historic property which is simply stunning in its beauty with a huge back yard, decorated with incredible sculptures, that lead to a gorgeous river front. My wife and I sat... More

After too long an absence, four of us revisited the Bee and Thistle last night and had a delightful time, with the surprising benefit of an "early bird" three- course dinner. Appetizers consisted of a fresh green salad or a crab bisque, both of which were delicious. Two of us had the steak , one opted for the cod, and... More

Picture Saturday evening crowning a chaotic and wildly cachophanous week. Pam asked , how about a quiet evening out - just to eat and talk. Private window side table. View of spring garden flowers through well appointed curtains. The right music and superlative staff with quiet attention. And then Chef Rowe 's spring menu. The Shatter Grenache , a perfect... More

We revisited The Bee & Thistle for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with our experience! Our meal was most enjoyable, tasty and the service was attentive but not overbearing! This has always been a very nice venue and we're very pleased to find things have changed from our previous experience. Thank you to the staff and current owners!

I enjoyed a really lovely lunch here with some friends. I had the lemon cod with salad. The cod was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. The lemon flavor was light and tart, and the salad dressing reflected hints of that flavor as well. The salad was rich with candied cashews and fresh tomatoes. All around delicious! My dad had... We froze sitting in a barely heated porch, next to windows that barely closed. The waitron was forgetful and the food took 45 minutes to arrive. No bread during the wait. Water glasses left empty. Drinks orders confused. If it hadn't had been my birthday we might have left. (We had reserved ahead of time,4 people) The lights dipped every... More

The food was very good and had a lovely presentation. Staff was well accommodating. We also had afternoon tea on, and must say it fell quite short of our expectations...especially the presentation of the finger sandwiches. They need quite a bit more thought in design.

Wonderful evening, great food and music by Mass Confusion in the lounge. A relaxing birthday celebration ending with the pumpkin dessert. My favorite haunt never disappoints!
