Found this lovely family owned cafe on this site. The menu offerings for lunch were varied and it was hard to choose. Breakfast all day was tempting, but we mostly opted for yummy lunch offerings. I liked the Asian salad! Service was very accommodating and happy to please.

This treasure is a delightful place to enjoy either a breakfast or lunch. The outside tables overlooking the Lieutenant River are delightful in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Went two days in a row-- first lunch then breakfast/lunch. Staff is so friendly & view of the Four Mile River marsh in the morning sun is just lovely. This is a favorite spot for locals -- lunch for me was delish pumpkin soup with almonds and their fabulous pear salad! Second day: Breakfast was the omelet with sausage for... More

Disappointed. Dramatic change in food quality as compared with past visits. We had an omelet and a corned beef wrap . Omelet was dry and tasteless. The wrap was tasteless (“tasted like hospital food”). Coffee lukewarm. Menu needs some originality. One of the reasons that I hesitate to recommend restaurants is because the quality of the food can change dramatically... More

Had a great breakfast at the Morning Glory Cafe. Would definitely return if I found myself back in the area.

The Morning Glory Cafe is a idyllic spot to have a meal. Lunch is always a good try. They have a varied menu and one can never go wrong there. In the summer months there is an outdoor dining area that overlooks our beautiful Lieutenant River. Always worth the visit for meeting friends for a wonderful tasty meal.

This was my favorite place in Old Lyme last year. I don't know what changed but Last month when I was there te service was so slow and my omlette wasn't that good. I didn't write any bad review or I didn't give up on the place cause I had great breakfast and hamburgers here while I was enjoying the... More

We go to Morning Glory regularly for lunch. Love their Asian fusion dishes. View is lovely as are servers and owner.

Kind of tucked away alongside of Rt 1 and just north of I-95, breakfast or lunch is worth trying. Over the years they have improved their service and we would certainly plan on returning again.

Good choice and very well cooked. Fresh and clean with friendly and great service. Nice outside area just a shame it was close to a very busy road.
