Let me start by saying that when I visit a chain restaurant I have realistic standards that are different from those which I apply to a smaller "mom & pop" restaurants. That being said, the 99 doesn't even live up to that standard. Recently on a Monday evening my 9 year-old daughter and I needed to stop for a late... More

We were in town, and stopped by the Ninety Nine Restaurant. I especially enjoy that they offer a Gluten Free menu. We had a great lunch, the wait staff was very accommodating, with my dietary issues.

I sat at the bar and they have some great appetizer and drink specials. Considering its a chain restaurant, I thought the food was pretty decent. Super friendly bar staff. They have plenty of flat screens to enjoy the game. I was disappointed they didn't offer free wifi like most restaurants do these days.

What can I say? This restaurant isn't for me, just OK even for lunch, pretty much a typical franchise menu of eclectic cuisines. I had a chicken breast dish and the chicken was processed, how much does real chicken breast cost? Flavor was "safe", not completely bland but not standout either. Many other franchises out there, some have themes, some... More

A good family restaurant. On our list when we with the kids and are not at the Casino. Good food and priced well.

The service at the bar was terrible! There was just 2 or us and 2 other people sitting there. The girl bartending couldn't be bothered with us. She served us each a drink and then never came back. She was too busy talking and fooling around with the other employees. We literally sat there with empty glasses for about 10... More

Nuff said. Wait I have to write 50 characters this website says. Typical chain restaurant. Crappy food, tacky atmosphere, and overpriced for processed, microwaved food. I could make a better dish for a fraction of the cost with FRESH ingredients!!

Food is average. Service always blows. Plates are often dirty. Replaced by dirtier plates. Bar and kitchen close very early. Not a hangout place

We eat here quite a lot. The only Applebee's type chain restaurant in Norwich. It's usually very crowded on week ends. We think the food is as good as any of the other "fern bars." Better than Fridays or Chilis.
