This is a diner. They have all the typical dinner food and my favorite spicey chorizo Mexican sausage that we get on a herrachi when we go. I also get their tamales. I grew up in Arizona so I really miss that Mexican flavor. The tamales are just right and I top with green sauce. I keep going back. The... More

Great breakfast. Short walking distance from Norwich inn. Good price. You can tell that the locals like it.

I have been stopping in for breakfast and find it can not be beat. Real corned beef hash. Many of my friends go there for dinner and lunch. Will try that soon. Keep up the good quality. Paul Westermeyer, Norwich, Ct.

I've been going to Joy's for years. The customer service and food quality has been amazing since the new family took over a few years ago. They have very tastes food and are generally pretty quick. The staff is very friendly. Although I have not tried it, I have also heard very positive things about their Mexican dishes! They are... More

My husband and I had eaten here once before and found it pretty good so when we knew we were going to be in the area this morning decided to have breakfast this morning. I ordered a decaf hot tea and my husband ordered decaf coffee. When my tea was delivered the water was not hot enough to make tea.... More

My boyfriend and I like to try new things together. He found Joy's online and decided to give it a try. We came in on a very busy Sunday morning, were greeted, and told to sit anywhere we wished as we walked in the door. We picked a booth and shortly thereafter, a waitress came over to fill our coffee... More

Joy's was an amazing breakfast. The omelets, gravy, and pancakes were superb. The service was fantastic, even with 3 kids at the table! They have a Mexican flair to their meals which is a refreshing spice for breakfast. Only 2 tables that can accommodate larger groups. Will certainly be back.

What a great find, thanks to the friendly reviewers from Tripadvisor. We were staying nearby and wanted an alternate breakfast option from the overpriced casino. This place truly is a skip away from the Mohegan Sun, but their breakfast is second to none. Was particularly impressed by the huevos rancheros that came with a delicious slightly spicy red sauce, with... More

I ate breakfast for the first time at Joy's Country Skillet on May 23, 2014. This restaurant is located on Route 32, a very short distance from the entrance of the Norwich Inn and Spa. I entered the establishment around 9:30 am, and there were very few people in the restaurant. I sat at the counter, because I was by... More
