Great for breakfast

I have been stopping in for breakfast and find it can not be beat. Real corned beef hash. Many of my friends go there for dinner and lunch. Will try that soon. Keep up the good quality. Paul Westermeyer, Norwich, Ct.

Anything the Flores family touches is usually a success and Joy's is no exception Breakfast, lunch or dinner - all the usual diner fare but also Mexican options -Huervos Rancheros for breakfast but maybe you'd rather have Bisteak! Chiluquilles, Burritos, nachos all get the joys treatment and the Breakfast Burrito will give you a couple meals... Right up the road... More

Love those grilled corn muffins! Pretty standard american breakfast fare. However if you branch out you'll discover so much love goes into the huevos rancheros and other expertly prepared mexican egg dishes. It's ART. Have yet to try lunch or dinner, since I always take advantage of all day breakfast. Sweet, slow waitstaff and good prices. Food challenge: finish the... More

Staff was very welcoming and place was hopping. However, I have no idea why?! I figured it was due to a very family friendly/ familiar atmosphere. It seemed the staff knew just about everyone. Good was bland and a bit greasy. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing... It was what the waitress said was best seller... A couple of fried... More

The best items on the menu are the Mexican dishs and breakfast items the rest seem to just be frozen fillers to expand the menu

This is a diner. They have all the typical dinner food and my favorite spicey chorizo Mexican sausage that we get on a herrachi when we go. I also get their tamales. I grew up in Arizona so I really miss that Mexican flavor. The tamales are just right and I top with green sauce. I keep going back. The... More

Great breakfast. Short walking distance from Norwich inn. Good price. You can tell that the locals like it.

I've been going to Joy's for years. The customer service and food quality has been amazing since the new family took over a few years ago. They have very tastes food and are generally pretty quick. The staff is very friendly. Although I have not tried it, I have also heard very positive things about their Mexican dishes! They are... More

My husband and I had eaten here once before and found it pretty good so when we knew we were going to be in the area this morning decided to have breakfast this morning. I ordered a decaf hot tea and my husband ordered decaf coffee. When my tea was delivered the water was not hot enough to make tea.... More
