Great pizza and gyros. Staff is friendly and always remembers customer names. Parking is limited but place is always packed which of course reflects on their food.

This restaurant was on a list provided by our innkeeper at the Silvermine Tavern, and it was fabulous! We love Italian cooking, and the Chicken Marsala and the Veal Piccata were as good as any we've ever had. Two ladies at the table next to us had driven for miles for the pork chops. Excellent, festive, and reasonably priced. If... More

My family has been coming to Uncle Joe's since I was in high school in the 70's. It's our "go to" place whenever I come back to Norwalk and the food never disappoints. Our family favorites include the lasagna, chicken parm and shrimp dishes. Parking can be a bit tricky on a busy weekend night -- we often do take-out.... More

I have just moved to Norwalk about 3 months ago, and have been to Uncle Joe's more than a handful of times. It's been great, every time. It was the first local place I found when moving here, and went in for lunch, and had such a great meal and experience. My boyfriend and I then went for dinner a... More

My wife and I had dinner (for the first time at Uncle Joe's) last evening. It is a very busy restaurant and now we know why. The service was prompt and even more importantly, extremely friendly and warm. It was almost like dinning at "a friends home". We had an absolutely delicious pizza served piping hot which made it even... More

AWESOME owners make this place a MUST in the Silvermine area of Norwalk. Favorite things: Definitely the pizza, anything Greek, calamari salad, stuffed baked potato, sauteed spinach, chicken parm, stuffed clams, buffalo wings Not my favorite: Billy's "special" spicy pizza - it's ridiculously hot - picture a nice pizza with half a cup of red pepper flakes on it. :)

Went in with a friend for a pizza and beer after some golf. We sat at the bar and had a great time. Pizza was thin and beer was cold.

We went to Uncle Joes as a family and found it to be a comfortable place, where the booths are seperated by a panel that lifts out to make two booths one. Great for a big family or large party. Food was good, but just average mostly. Gorgonzola salad and Penne ala vodka were very good. Crust on the calzone... More

This is the best pizza around the Norwalk area, and there's a lot of good pizza. Greek style (cut in squares), it just has something special that's hard to put your finger on. The "regular" crust is to die for. Then there are the Greek salads. Again the best. The dressing, like the crust recipe, is a family secret. Go... More

My mother has talked about this place so we decided to go for dinner with a few of her friends. They serve some tastey bread to start - you could get it toasted if you want. They serve three sizes of salads. Their large house salad (which was very similar to a great salad) was more than enough for 5... More
