Was a great restaurant, but I am afraid they moved on. The owner has run many great Spanish restaurants over the years.

My husband and I found ourselves with a couple of rare hours alone Friday night, the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend. Our boys were at a nearby event and we had 2hours free before heaving to pick them up. We hadn't been to Meigas for a very long time and so glad we decided to go back. The service... More

Went on a Saturday night. Had a Margarita (real good). Hangar Steak dinner very good. Nice menu. Prices were a bit on the above moderate range. There is a couple's special for $49.95 (I think). They also have a happy hour ( do not know details).

We went with friends and this excellent restaurant which is very elegant and unique to this area has wonderful Spanish cuisine. My husband had the Paella, notably the best in this area. I had a salad with chicken and various ingredients, all fresh and tasty. The ambience is wonderful. A special restaurant for out of town friends or a special... More

We had Dinner at Meigas last night exceptionally good! Decor very nice spotlessly clean. We had Gambas Al Ajillo whenever we go there we will make sure we order them again. Delightful crusty bread for dipping. For entrees we had Paella very good & more then ample, I had the Duck Breast with a port reduction prepared perfectly. Very good... More

There was a time when you needed to drive to New York, or fly to Barcelona, for an experience like Meigas. No longer. Meigas is a jewel, on Wall Street, in an historic part of Norwalk. Located in a reclaimed factory building, the brick lined walls put you in the mind of a Spanish wine cave, and how appropriate. The... More

Located right near downtown Norwalk CT between Wall St and Knight St and is housed in an old trolley station. Warm and inviting without being over the top . Great wine list with some good $30 options but sadly no Malbec. The bread was awesome - dense, chewy, crispy crust, fabulous olive oil. We both had grilled baby calamari to... More

From the moment you walk into this establishment, you are surrounded with amazing aromas and outstanding service. I'm a vegetarian and many times I have been unimpressed with the selections I have received. The same can not be said for this restaurant. I was treated to three impeccable vegetarian tapas created with imagination and great skill. The wine perfectly complemented... More

Had dinner there last evening and really enjoyed it. Everyone in our party had a different meal and each one thought the food was great. Waiter recommended a terrific wine, a bit pushy, but it was good. Atmosphere was a little cold however. We will go back if in the mood for Spanish food

Had a celebratory dinner with family on a Saturday night and it was very nice and quiet in the restaurant, you did not feel like you were out with the world. Our service was good although they could do better with passing the bread. By far the highlight for us was the nice wine and amazing tapas. Not only some... More
