Special Treat for Eating in or Take Out

Lovely tables to eat in or call and order for take out. They don't deliver but it is worth it to stop in. Pleasant people welcome you in and offer you a seat while they get your food. Delicious food cooked to your spice preference. If you aren't familiar with all their offerings definitely go... read more

Indian Cuisine is varied, with different regions specializing in different preparations and dishes. Finding one which will effectively provide what you request, changing a standard offering, is a delight. My request was to take their excellent "Tomato Soup", already spicy to some degree, to another level of "heat"; retaining its texture, without thickening it nor hiding the delightful taste.. The... This little storefront restaurant has simple decor and a neighborly feel. We sought it out, after seeing many good reviews, because my husband, a big fan of the Indian curries he encounters in England and the Mideast, has complained about the lack of authentic local options. As for me, I've never met a paneer anything I didn't like. It was... More

To start of with my experience, we moved to Connecticut in Jan last year and were searching for Indian restaurant on a Friday night. We picked a restaurant near our house but we didn't find parking. It was almost 9:45 pm and we lost hope to find a restaurant where we can sit and enjoy the dinner on a weekend.... More

One of the best Indian food ever had outside India. Service is excellent with individual care taken. Even the To Go Packing is excellent. Went there multiple times.. Even when other restaurants were closed in this area by 9-30 p.m., this was Open. and was serviced well.

This place does awesome job both at dining at restaurant and delivery. Weekend lunch buffet has a very good amount of variety. Owner tries to build personalized relationship with customers. Discounts for regular customers. A la carte service can be a little faster. Overall definite place to go for Indian food.

When I went to pick up my order of Lamb with Indian sauce and coconut cream the lady approached me with a small sample for me to taste. Not knowing what she was doing she told me she wanted me to first taste the sauce to make sure it wasn't too salty--I had requested no added salt when I ordered... More

I am from India and I found the food at Saffron to be outstanding. The Saturday lunch buffet had goat curry, Chili Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Pav Bhaji, Punjabi Kadi, Palak Paneer, Dahi Vada, Rice, Dahl Makhani, Tomato Soup, Papad, Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki, Rice Pudding, Vanilla Pudding, and Paratha or Naan. The servers were very friendly and welcoming. Casual... More

Well where to start, everything is great about this place. From service to food,it was a total unique experience. The breads were the softest I ever had and the vegetarian entrees we ordered were good too. But, what I find best about the place is the service,it was awesome. The owner was interacting personally with one and all. I would love to go back... More

It was only the closing of Aladin that forced me to look for a new Indian. Oh boy...I had no idea what I was missing. This place is where they serve real Indian food, made properly and with no short cuts. The owners are very passionate about their food and it shows in every way. Whenever we have been most... More
