This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. We've eaten there several times and also gotten take out. The food is always great and the servings are generous. The staff are warm and friendly and they will adjust the spice to your taste.

Best Indian restaurant I have visited in Fairfield county. The food is top notch Indian with all the atmosphere and service of a fine Indian restaurant. Very romantic, had a lovely couples night with my husband. Will go back soon.

The self serve buffet had a good selection of meats (goat, chicken) and vegetables. Appetizers of Pakora (vegetable fritters) and desert of Suji Malwa (semolina with coconut) were quite tasty. This was our second visit to Saffron, and we found the owner to be very helpful.

I have used TripAdvisor to read reviews but I never made an account. Saffron's delicious food convinced me to make an account! I have high standards for North Indian Food because of my background and Saffron definitely won my thumbs up! I ordered take out a couple of weeks ago. It included Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Samosas (comes with... More

I work in the area and the company I work for recently added Saffron to the list of options where staff could order dinner from if working late. I live in in NYC and I am of Indian descent so I am very picky about Indian food and find in general that Indian restaurants, even in NYC, do not provide... More

Enjoyed some delivery after attempting to use Seamless to order (did not work but was no fault of the establishment, had to call and staff was very friendly.). Liked that there was the option for varying degree of spice for almost every dish. Aloo Tikki was different than I've had at other Indian places, but was still very good. Delivery... More

My husband and I just moved to Norwalk and were delighted to find this place via trip advisor. We had dinner there with two entrees a glass of wine and bread. The bill was only $40, which is amazing by itself. The food was equally amazing. The owners are a real delight and clearly know their customers. We came back... More

This is easily the best tasting Indian food around the Stamford, Greenwich and Norwalk area. The ambience isn't that great - it's a pretty small place - but the food is pretty authentic and tastes good. The lady owner is very nice to talk to and her suggestions are very good as well.

I would say one of the best indian restaurants i have been in the US. Not too greasy yet tasty This place give a homely feeling.Reasonably priced - They get 4/5 stars due to slow service . try their paneer lababdar, chicken tikka(appetizer), Dal(lentil) . Lassi
