This is my favorite restaurant in the area. Everything on the menu is good, especially the housemade mozzarella. Excellent wine list as we'll.
Can't miss when you pick Strada 18. Great variety. Really good food. You can watch them prepare the food if you choose. Bar and restaurant. Seating by the window if you want to watch people wander up and down the street. Been around for years because they are so good.
Ok, let me preface with that my husband is from Italy, so when it comes to Italian food, he can be difficult. But - we went twice and both times were bad. First time, arancini and calamari appetizer- tastes like previously frozen. Ordered a white pizza that was dripping with oil so badly we only each had one slice. Second... More
Strada 18 has an informal ambience, with it's brick walls, exposed ceiling structure , and flikering candle light. I settled in for a cozy dinner, but things didn't go well for me. The White Clam Pizza I ordered arrived at the table as White Clam Pasta. Oh well, not a great difference so I dug in. Unfortunately, the clams were... More

Their little complementary starter plates with hummus, wonderful olive oil and balsamic vinegar and tall breadsticks are great. Salads always really fresh and cold, and it's always a battle to TRY to order something other than our favorites for dinner. The hanger... More
This restaurant is AMAZING!!! Great pizza and pasta. The bar has a great view of the kitchens and open fire grill. Service is OUTSTANDING. Waitress was really nice. Dim lighting, but otherwise great.
Not a good choice if you are pressed for time, but the food was nice. Parking in this area of SoNo is easy, so give it a try.
