Doody's has been around forever and never disappoints!! Their weekly buffets are great as are the burgers and specialty sandwiches and dinners. Reasonably priced and definitely a favorite of locals. They are also a wonderful support of the community, organizations and schools.

When we don't feel like cooking...we go to Doody's. The food is good and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. All the locals go here. Great value. LOVE the homemade French Onion Soup! It is a meal in itself. The burgers are good too! I had an entree salad there that was too big to finish -and so good that... More

Looks like a dive from the outside, but some of the best food around. An Irish pub, but even the Italian dishes are prepared pefectly. Seafood and prime rib stand out. Better shrimp than a lot of seafood restaurants. On Tuesday nights an all-you-can-eat beef buffet is available, and on Wednesdays, a seafood buffet which usually includes stuffed sole, fried... More

Doody's opened for business in the mid 1930s and has been a local institution for all these years. A casual gathering place for drinks or dinners, regulars flock in for food, fun and conversation. From "serve yourself" popcorn through incredible pastrami, melt in your mouth corned beef and sizzling steaks, there is something for every budget, taste or craving. Service... More

Doody's has great burger, salads and appetizers. They have a large bar area that is great for hanging out with friends. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are big.

Doodys is just your local joint - you can get a BLT or a Filet Mignon. Believe it or not I believe that they have the best fried shrimp of anywhere around the shoreline right now nice big shrimp perfectly cooked and very sweet. I see where some people had a few complaints with the service or the food but... More

Being busy is a good sign, right? Not here! Waited way too long for cold food- drinks- dinner- everything. Hate getting anything with cold congealed cheese, like the enedible salty reuben we ordered. Wings were dry from wanting to be brought to the table. I've worked in restaurants and recognize food that has been under warming lights for too long.To... More

Friday's are especially good for the rib roast. Sliced to your preferred doneness, tender, juicy, delicious. Their seafood buffet, available I think on Wednesdays, is pretty good, too. All their portions are huge, so order accordingly. Doody's is often crowded, particularly on St. Patrick's Day. The food may be good on St. Paddy's Day, but it's an evening where I'll... More
