Tourist Trap

Nice scenery but way too expensive. Food is only so-so and as a resident, I think it's just a tourist trap that has been around forever. Plus it's BYOB so if you go, make sure to bring your own if you like a cocktail with lunch/dinner. The date of when I visited was before I moved to Noank which... read more

Overpriced but then again its a tourist trap and its CT so nothing locals don't know. They allow dogs but ban certain breeds. Just knowing that I would never fund a place with owners/management that participates in any sort of discrimination.

One of the best shore side lobster experiences in Connecticut, if not all of New England. Be prepared for a line on summer evenings, but there is lots of out door seating. Bring your own if you want alcoholic beverages. There's a package store on the way through Noank village.

I look forward, at least once a year, when I am working in the Mystic area to go to Abbott's. It open on the weekend the actual week that I am in that area. The scenery is great and the food even better. A MUST DO !!!!!

So if you like lobster then this is the place for you! I can honestly say this is my favorite lobster place in the entire US! It's nothing fancy, you go to the window, place your order and find a picnic bench seaside and wait for your order number to be called before walking back and getting your plate. But... More

Great place for steamed lobster. Outside picnic tables. Warm weather place to go. Great view. No frill, just good food.

This wonderful seaside restaurant delivers in so many ways. From the view, the laid back atmosphere, and the most delicious FRESH lobster, it is the kind of place you will be talking about for years. If I ever make it back up to CT, there is no question we will be going back! A little side note-it is BYO alcohol.... More

We picked a great day to visit. A nice sunny day to be on the water and enjoy this simple, rustic place. We went in early October and did not have to deal with the crowds. However, the Lobster roll was so good I would go back and wait in the the crowds. The clam chowder was terrific as well.

This is a lobster shack. You stand in line to order at a window, then wait for your number to be called. But what you get is great, fresh lobster! Either as a dinner or on a roll. Both are great. Be sure to try the clam chowder and the stuffed clams as starters. They're terrific. It's worth the drive... More

On the way to NYC we stopped at Abbots on one of their last days this season. I had the OMG lobster roll and my wife had the smaller version. Both were served warm with butter on the side. I think the OMG was the better deal but you can't go wrong with either one. We've been here before and... More
