Calling all lobster lovers!

If you're a lobster lover and don't mind eating outdoors, Abbotts is the place to go. Despite being located on a back street in Noank with limited parking on weekends, it is worth the trip. We recommend the 2 1/2 pound lobster shore dinner with a side of stuffed clams. If the weather is good, sit... read more

Hidden just off route one. Our family enjoyed lobster roll, both hot and cold, mussels, crab cake and whole lobster. Don't forget the coleslaw and chips. Sit outside enjoy the view after picking your lobster. Drink some beer eat and relax! We will return!

Okay, they do a great job with lobster. Nothing fancy, just New England lobster style place. However, take your dinner out onto the dock! Now we're talking.

Stopped at Abbott's for a lobster roll. It was a good amount of lobster, on a hotdog roll. It came with chips and a tiny amount of slaw. The price was $25.00. I thought that was high. You can eat outside overlooking the harbor.

We arrived just after opening at lunch, so we didn't have to wait in that long, long line later in the afternoon. We had a wonderful meal and sat outside on the dock with a wonderful water view. Fantastic dining experience.

Its been a long time since I visited Abbott's but I was very satisfied this time around. Simply, I had the best lobster in a long time! It was a treat in that it was a huge 2.5 - 3 Lb. size lobster, a size that I've never experienced. If you are a lobster lover, this was a very meaty... More

The last time I had fresh lobster was on a family vacation as a teenager. A short trip to Connecticut meant an opportunity to relive the experience. Was very happy to see Abbott's was still open on the last weekend in September, so we headed straight there from the airport. I like the laid-back atmosphere and the picnic tables, but... More

I sat in something sticky! TIP: Look before you sit at your chosen picnic table! I did not, and had to wash my pants out when we got back to our hotel room. Otherwise, an outstanding experience. Lobster roll (classic) Crab roll, shrimp corn chowder, NE clam chowder all excellent. Tip: bring extra wet towelettes, its finger licking good, we... More

This was our first experience of eating lobster and chowder and clams and mussels and the clue is in the title - it's just not an English thing. You've just got to get down to it and get your fingers covered. You're given a plastic bib - which is a must unless you want to get covered in liquid. We... More
