Great whole belly as well as clam strips. Enjoyed sitting outside at picnic table. Place order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. Worth the short wait. Will return!

Nice tasting fish and chips. Very fresh tasting and nicely fried. The coleslaw was different but very good, more of a vinagar dressing instead of a mayo based dressing. Tarter sauce was good and plentiful and malt vinagar was available for fries. Nice veiw from the outside picnic tables.

A great little spot overlooking Niantic Bay. Fabulous Fish & Chips.....fresh fish, fried perfectly. A simple place that does a great job with their fresh seafood. Can sit indoors or out on their deck.

We bought lobster rolls here several times this summer. They are packed with just lobster meat and a little bit of good mayonnaise--no fillers. They also come with chips and delicious coleslaw. AND the best part is they are several dollars cheaper than most other restaurants in the area! The view is also quite beautiful.

cuz that's all you're going to get. Prices are as expected for a 'tourist' area, the plates come full, and you can sit INSIDE if the weather is bad - unlike other places in the area. Oh - all these seafood places are counter service only. You place your order and then wait. And wait. And wait... No wine or... More

I am a Niantic native and I have been coming to Skippers Restaurant since I moved down here. The food is absolutely delicious, and never disappoints. The fish is always fresh, and the service is great! Your food will literally come out minutes after ordering! My most favorite meal to order is the fish sandwich. It is nothing like I've... More

This is a place with a "million dollar view" if you sit out front, as one of the newspaper blurbs posted inside says, although the railroad tracks run between the front porch and the Long Island Sound. Nonetheless, if you want an authentic clam shack experience, this is the place to come. It is not inexpensive: we ordered a small... More

I read a lot of reviews and talked to locals before deciding to choose this for dinner Friday night. I was not disappointed. My mom & daughter got big salads that were awesome, my husband and son got burgers which they said were very good and I had fried clams. I had not had any in so long and they... More

There is no atmosphere, but the lobster roll was amazing. This is a typical seafood lunch spot, but we were fine with the food.
