Excellent Sandwiches

We had both a breakfast and lunch sandwich. Both were with fresh ingredients and fresh bread. Iced coffee was also excellent. Only down side is it opens at 9 am which is strange for a place serving breakfast fare. That prevented a 5 star review

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and fresh baked pastries. Lunch is fabulous, at high noon it's crowded. Yummy melts, salads, wraps and the very best potato salad. Ever. Long time fans, my family has always gone here. Good pickles.

Our server was rude, obnoxious, argumentative, and condescending over a simple order of coffee and muffins. We were shocked as she resorted to staring us down after we paid. No need to visit such a negative environment. We'll never return.

The food here is great! I love the sandwiches and salads. I would eat lunch here everyday if I could but I spend around $12 a meal every time I treat myself...

This establishment offers a great lunch menu with several healthy alternatives. The staff is friendly and it is located just minutes from the local beaches

I've been going to a summer house originally owned by my great grandparents and now owned by my parents absolutely all my life, and have also gone to the Village Bake House for as long as I can remember for any number of things. I have to say that anyone familiar with "Hermit" cake/cookie bars (molasses, ginger, raisins etc.) really should... More

Like this place and order sandwiches regularly. Good variety of unique options, friendly staff, only one negative: I always get take out and the pickle is not individually wrapped so the pickle juice gets all over the place when you open up the sandwich. This is a problem when trying to eat on the go!

Great breakfast sandwiches, huge menu of bread, egg, cheese, and meat choices, everything made fresh, much better alternative to the Dunkin Donuts down the road. I've never had lunch there but their sandwich and salad menu is extensive and if lunch is anything like breakfast it should be delicious.

Village is good, Everything tastes pretty good. But I wish they had hot chicken on their chicken salads and I'd love to see better soups, I'm not sure if they are hommade, they seem like they aren't. Also their prices are a bit high for what you get.

Tomato Basil Bisque? Love it. The chicken salad sandwich - to die for. Great food with New England prices.
