The food here is good, but as a local we don't frequent this establishment often as it is quite overpriced and the wait for a table is long. I really enjoy the stonington sea scallops, very fresh and cooked well. I prefered the old Constantine's restaurant, with it's traditional menu and old wooden ship appeal.

When we lived in Niantic, we frequently ate at Constantine's where the Main Street Grille is now located. We were concerned that it might be a disappointment compared to meals of years past. Well no need to worry! It easily surpassed our memories! If we still lived there it would be our "go-to" place for a nice dinner.

There were 7 of us having lunch on Sunday, on our way back from Mystic. This is our 3rd time here. The restaurant overlooks the water and they have a nice big parking lot. The prices are very reasonable and the food was very good. They have a nice Fisherman's platter and the salmon was moist and delicious. They have... More

The absolute best beef stroganoff I have ever had...made with filet! Prime rib was awesome also. Great happy hour! Got to go if you are in the area

I was getting married at Harkness Memorial and I needed to find a nice restaurant for my family and groomsman dinners (many of which were out-of towners) and the Main Street Grille TWICE succeeded!!! Both parties enjoyed the food and service. I heartily recommend this restaurant. The menu was perfect for those wanting seafood(steak was good too) and the desserts... More

There are seats outside at the back where it would be lovely in the sun but since it was cloudy that day I chose to sit inside. Sat at the window which looks directly across the road to the Black Sheep - which that day was crammed with people in pink who were supporting the annual charity cancer walk. Had... More

We stopped there twice, once with the family for lunch and second time for dinner. Sitting outside means to have a direct view on parking lot. Service was little bit confused, bringing food but table was fool of empty plates after starters. Food was less then average, some portions (like starter crab & dip) are incredibly huge and this one... More

Saw the place across from where we ate, and I stopped in to see what the place was like. Being in Niantic I wanted a view of the ocean, and you can't get that from the Black Sheep. The menu didn't jump out at me to entice me to visit.
