We stopped there twice, once with the family for lunch and second time for dinner. Sitting outside means to have a direct view on parking lot. Service was little bit confused, bringing food but table was fool of empty plates after starters. Food was less then average, some portions (like starter crab & dip) are incredibly huge and this one... More

Saw the place across from where we ate, and I stopped in to see what the place was like. Being in Niantic I wanted a view of the ocean, and you can't get that from the Black Sheep. The menu didn't jump out at me to entice me to visit.

I loved the food. We went right at sundown. So beautiful sitting on the top deck watching the sky change colors as we eat. The wait staff were so nice and helpful with our nine month old baby.

Vacationing in the area, stopped in for a quick happy hour drink and some food. The service wasn't bad, I hold nothing against the bartender, who did what she could. But let's put it this way. They messed up my baked potato. It's a BAKED POTATO. Overcooked and inedible. My salad was a soup of salad dressing with some lettuce... More

Just had lunch here, sat on upper deck with a gorgeous breeze and view of Long Island Sound. The ahi Tina was absolutely delicious, served on hot crusty roll and a wasabi slaw. So good. Husband had lobster roll and onion rings. Both excellent. Must eat here!!!!!!!!!!

The view pulls in the crowds. Enjoyed lunch on the upper deck. Ordered crab cakes and Caesar salad for lunch. Crab cakes were smaller than expected but were full of crab meat. Caesar salad/dressing was very tasty. Must husband ordered a cobb salad, very fresh ingredients, we will return.

Went to Main Street Grille with high expectations. The staff and service were inadequate. First, wanted to sit outside and was told by a non caring young woman that it would be a 35 minute wait so we went inside. We could see the patio from our table and saw that 4 patio tables cleared almost immediately with no waiting... More

Marginal food, long wait, rude staff. Not worth the ridiculously high prices. One positive is the nice view

Stopped in for a quick bite for lunch on a chilly summer day. Had the artichoke crab dip. I felt it was a bit too cheesy and did not care for the flavored chips they served with it. We asked for some extra dinner rolls and they were perfect with the dip. They were also served fresh out of the... More
