We came to the cafe in lunch time on a Sunday. The service was slow, and when we did get out order, the chicken was too dry. Their tables outside had a nice view, but too close to the street. Coffee was not strong enough, per our taste,

This place is new since we moved out of town 10 years ago. Frankly, it's one of very few improvements to the town since we left! Drinks and food were both excellent and prices were reasonable. My family had dinner there and I went back for lunch the next day. If I still lived in town, I'd be a regular!

This place is pretty salty but that's what makes it entertaining. Hands down they have the best fish & chips in town. The piece of fish is always gigantic, fresh & perfectly cooked. Their tap list is usually a let down but their drink menu is fun. We love sitting outside in their courtyard area people-watching during the warmer months.... More

Been here several times over the years. It's fine, but nothing great. For a pub, their beer list lacks variety. The food is pretty good, but would appreciate more variety. Like most places it has lots of TVs. Outdoor patio is a nice option.

Returned to The Black Sheep for a late Sunday lunch/ early Sunday dinner and entered with high hopes but left very disappointed. Have eaten here before with satisfactory reviews but this might have been a bad day....Regardless. Our waitress arrived wearing black shirt and pants, but very dirty and unkept...Kind of a turn off already. Took our order and never... More

We have eaten here a couple of times, but it had been a long while, and we were in town, so we headed here for dinner. We were promptly seated and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We heard the special and my husband ordered one of those, which was cod stuffed with shrimp and crab with a lobster... More

My partner and I came here for a beer. The female bar tender took an eternity to acknowledge us (because she was too busy talking to another employee about buying a house). When we were acknowledged she took almost 10 minutes to pour 2 beers. Mind you it was NOT a busy time -- all other customers were already served.... More

The exterior of this building says classic pub with a modern twist, and that is precisely what we found. We visited on a Friday night with our toddler, and we immediately felt welcome as the hostess made sure we found a booth that best suited us. The menu was only one-page which is often a great sign because it means... More

We tired this as we were driving by without looking any reviews up, etc. It's located very nicely and easy parking right next to it. The interior is gorgeous, with a really unusual bar set up. The menu says a local guy designed the interior based on some old Irish bars, and the furniture is from Ireland. It was a... More

Beer and dinner with a friend, great Guinness but fluke was not fresh (tasted of ammonia) and very small portion, sweet potato fries were generous portion and excellent. Friend's crab cake appeared to be heavy on breading and more fiber than lump.
