Fun evening out

We each had an amazing dinner. Started off with their specialty egg rolls served on a bed of shredded vegetables and a side of mussels . Delicious!!! The entrees were even tastier than the first dishes . Mussels again on rIzzoto, fish and chips, and Cesar salad with grilled shrimp. Dessert... read more

Whereas some of the food is good, the pub is very noisy and tries too hard. A real pub is cosy, a place to meet friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Here, one can hardly hear one speak, unless outside in the summer. Hardly what one would like for a local. Seating is not comfortable.

Stopped in for lunch. Hubby started off with a cup of new England clam chowder which I tasted and it had a great flavor and consistency. I had the salad with craisins walnuts gorgonzola and a vignette with nice mixed greens. Delicious. He had a pastrami sandwich on rye toast (barely toasted) but very good. Fries on the side were... We were here on a Saturday afternoon and had a decent meal but there was nothing exciting about the place or the noisy atmosphere.

My husband and I were looking for a local spot for a good dinner and a few drinks. We enjoyed two classic Irish entrees and wine; the portions were a good size and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere was lively and fun and as the bar began to fill up, we realized it was Trivia Night and had a... More

Since the Black Sheep opened the hanger steak has been my favorite menu item. We hadn't been to the restaurant since early spring and were disappointed that the steak was no longer on the menu. They now serve a flat iron steak with bacon and cheese sauce. It was awful. I asked for medium rare, and although the steak was... More

Recommendation for night with dance bands. Set up the band to the right of the door as you walk in and move the table tops to the left of the door. This gives more room for dancing and people who are eating do not have butts in their faces.

My husband and I stop in here when in the area for lunch or dinner. We absolutely love it here. The service is always incredible and the food has always been delicious! My husband especially loves their special ketchup! I really can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I love it here!
