Had wings that tasted like they'd been cooked days before and reheated. Salmon was pungent smelling and salad wilted. Flat iron steak was ordered medium and the center was grey it also tasted off. Told waiter and he was very pleasant but the fact is this place puts out old food....Really?? Location is nice but I highly recommend you eat... More

Food was pretty good for the most part, we wondered why they served Angus beef instead of Irish Dexter Beef... Don't order the Shepards Pie - it is gross.

This restaurant/bar used to be a local pharmacy. The décor depicts this artfully. There is a wide variety of beers/liquors and the food and staff are wonderful

The staff is very welcoming, though not completely familiar with the drinks ( beer, liquor, etc.) they offer. The food offerings are ok, nothing special. The vegetable dumplings were very good, as were the wings with a variety of sauces. The New England clam chowder was thin, though it did have a good amount of clam pieces in it. The... More

We came to the cafe in lunch time on a Sunday. The service was slow, and when we did get out order, the chicken was too dry. Their tables outside had a nice view, but too close to the street. Coffee was not strong enough, per our taste,

This place is new since we moved out of town 10 years ago. Frankly, it's one of very few improvements to the town since we left! Drinks and food were both excellent and prices were reasonable. My family had dinner there and I went back for lunch the next day. If I still lived in town, I'd be a regular!

This place is pretty salty but that's what makes it entertaining. Hands down they have the best fish & chips in town. The piece of fish is always gigantic, fresh & perfectly cooked. Their tap list is usually a let down but their drink menu is fun. We love sitting outside in their courtyard area people-watching during the warmer months.... More

Been here several times over the years. It's fine, but nothing great. For a pub, their beer list lacks variety. The food is pretty good, but would appreciate more variety. Like most places it has lots of TVs. Outdoor patio is a nice option.

Returned to The Black Sheep for a late Sunday lunch/ early Sunday dinner and entered with high hopes but left very disappointed. Have eaten here before with satisfactory reviews but this might have been a bad day....Regardless. Our waitress arrived wearing black shirt and pants, but very dirty and unkept...Kind of a turn off already. Took our order and never... More

We have eaten here a couple of times, but it had been a long while, and we were in town, so we headed here for dinner. We were promptly seated and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We heard the special and my husband ordered one of those, which was cod stuffed with shrimp and crab with a lobster... More
