good pizza

Got pizza to go from here and it was good! They have won awards for their pizza. They do have dine in area as well as an outside patio for nice weather. Will definitely go back.

Carminuccio's is the best pizza. They have won awards and boast them with pride, and when you order one of those monstrous slices you understand why. Its expensive but I will gladly pay extra. The skatepark is a quarter of a mile away, so its the go to spot for food either between sessions or Cafterwards. Countless sessions have happily... More

From the crisp, just-right crust to the amazing sauce to the high-quality cheese- just perfection. Try the Mozzarella sticks too. You'll want to drink the dipping sauce! The owner and staff are so welcoming and you help yourself to drinks. You quickly feel like this is your own "joint". Our favorite place to eat at least once a week.

We used to go down the street for pizza and subs until our friend closed business. We tried a few places in town and were pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality of Caminuccio's pizza and subs. We will be going there from now on!

We ordered their famous pizza to go and it was wonderful! I would definitely recommend it and would go back. Eat in area doesn't look anything spectacular or fancy but the place was packed and the food is great!

Hate to give anyplace a poor rating but they claim to be top 10 in USA and they are not even best in Newtown, Pizza had tough crust and a bit burned, staff seemed confused, visited this place 3 times and same story all three times.... done

Pizzas are unique and good but seem to be on the pricier side. But I would say that they are large. Grinders are also good and again, big. Look for the mailer coupons to save some money :)

The pizza is good, but certainly not in the same league as the big three in New Haven. Nice thin crust. A little on the expensive side though. I would get this pizza again when in Newtown, but was not as impressed as some of the other reviewers.

On the way home from Bridgeport we stopped in to see what we could get to go since we didn't want to sit down for a meal. Ordered a meatball parm hero and was out in 10 minutes. Great sauce I must say, and the meatballs were freshly made. It's a small place but cozy if it's not packed. real... More
