It's all Greek to me!

It's all Greek to me except for the menu. A great place to eat when traveling on Rt. 84 in Connecticut. It's one of those places that when you don't know what you want and don't want to think about it, You come to the Blue Colony Diner open 24 hours. Great Milkshakes, salads, gyros and plenty more... read more

Prices are very reasonable, french toast is killer. They do a booming business, and I can see why. Great choice for breakfast and much better choices and prices in the hotel restaurant a mile away. I recommend it.

The diner could seem like it is only a local treasure but it is so much more! I have known people from far away that purposely stop on their way somewhere else. The staff is kind and never pushy no matter what the circumstance. If you show up with 20 friends or simply have no electricity, they are accommodating and... More

This has food that is better than most diners. The portions are large and reasonably priced. Their disserts are excellent. The menu is large enough to satisfy anyone and their specials are great.

I can see why there is a wide range of reviews. I have always sworn by this place as a great spot to stop on a long drive and easy off and on I84. I have been here dozens of times. It fits the bill. No one gets any friendlier but... The food is good if you choose wisely. It... More

We were heading home and it was late so we have passed Blue Colony several times and we decided to give it a try. It was around 9:00pm and the place was very busy. Our waitress Debbie was awesome and she was very friendly and accommodating. Our family ordered waffles with strawberries, Cobb salad and two different Pannis. The food... More

Stopped here on our return bus trip from Baltimore,MD. We were all served rather quickly. Dinners offer salads and soup along with the dinner. Everything was very good. Prices were fair for portions. Would stop here again. Recommend as a good dinner meal.

Food is frozen not fresh. Menu items are overpriced. Wait staff are nice but manager on the register has the personality of a flat tire. Use caution gettin in and out of parking lot. Go somewhere else.

Hubby and I were traveling through the area and stopped. It's an as expected experience for a diner. We got bacon cheeseburgers. A very generous portion of bacon, but both burgers were over cooked. The pickle was delicious. We sat near the counter and it was very noisy. Not sure if I'd stop next time.
