Being of Greek decent, when I think of Cavo's I think of Mousaka, Pastichio, Dolmades, Horiatiki salad. Cavo's serves traditional Greek dishes that actually bring me back to my childhood and the dishes my mom and now I make. I have also had their pizza and it is very good, but why settle for pizza when you can pretend you... More

There was a 20 minute wait to get a table. The waiter offered complimentary wine to those in line. All the entrees that passed us by were fantastic looking. The restaurant had energy in the crowd. Had a great greek salad followed up with a Sardine meal. That requires a certain taste, but I will go back to try the... More

The food was real Greek food. I felt like I was back in Greece. The atmosphere was great the room upstairs was great for the family party. The grilled lamb was very good. We love the out door terrace it is great and great food.

We dined at Cavos on a busy Friday night. Service was prompt and friendly. The horiatiki salad is the real deal, and very satisfying. We ordered Chicken Santorini, among other dishes, a particularly aromatic and delicious main course. For desert we ordered Galactoburiko and Baklava with figs. Delicious! We will return.

It has been a long time since my friend recommended this place to me. He goes quite often as he live only a few miles away. But we wanted to meet some friends for dinner, and this place was geographically right in the middle. A perfect opportunity to give the place a try. The restaurant itself is not very big... More

This is a fantastic restaurant with good food and service. The lemon chicken soup and spanakopita were wonderful. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time at Cavos. I came in for a light meal. My teenage daughter was interested in having Saganaki appetizer (fried cheese, $8) and we split a large Greek salad ($10). I felt the salad was high priced and it was not exceptionally large. I was rather disappointed because of that. Otherwise, the standard veggies in the... More

Heading back from a weekend in New England, we discovered a great, authentic Greek restaurant. Waitress was very friendly, service was excellent and food was very tasty. We started out with the village salad, fried calamari and shared chicken souvalki. The portions were large and were not able to finish the fried calamari. HOWEVER, we did manage to share a... More

The food here is always very tasty, the service is always very nice and they do a great job. We just wish the dining room had a little more space. This place always has people in it, and they always deliver quality food. Yummy!

I have had the pleasure of experiencing an eatery that actually cooks great Greek food. so difficult to find authentic Greek food in Connecticut . I have visited Cavos on several occasions and have not left dissapointed yet. I was especially pleased with their Easter Price fix menu of roast lamb and family size assortment of appetizers and side dishes.... More
