Large portions

Service is great...quick and efficient. Portions are extraordinary...you will take some home! Food is okay...meat balls and shakes are great. Caesar salad is mediocre...way too much dressing and no anchovies. Mussels are very good but a bit spicy. Pasta is okay. Prices are reasonable. Will probably... read more

We like to go for lunch and sit at the bar we usually get a salad which are always nice to share they did use to be much bigger but trust me all the entrees that come out of that kitchen are HUGE. I have a hard time not ordering Eggplant fries one of my favorites! We get a slice... More

We went this past weekend. The service was slow, the salads were drenched in dressing, chicken Marsala was not cooked and rubbery, and a burger was overcooked. We were never asked how we liked our meals. The server took so long to come back that my charge card was on the table 15 mins before she came with the check... More

I ordered the sausage grinder with peppers, cheese, sauce...the standard fare. I was delivered a very large grinder that was cut in half which is very nice. When I picked up one half it collapsed and a portion of the roll came away from what I was holding so that was a waste. Joey Garlic’s apparently likes to keep their... More

I've been to Joey Garlic's a few times and all of the visits were great. The eggplant fries are revolutionary, and the pizza is always delicious. Highly recommend the BBQ Chicken and Bianca pizzas with a funny bone shake for dessert.

This place’s reputation is “big portions of good Italian for not a lot of money”. I hear the pork cutlet could choke a gorilla. I was leery about having a business lunch here because I have to lose weight for a wedding. The salad choices would be key. I ordered a chicken Caesar. My colleagues both ordered the meatball salad.... More

The restaurant is always very crowded and the wait is long. the food is your typical fast food chain. Good pizza, very large portions, good pasta. I gave it an overall 3 rating because it's not my type of food. I prefer smaller portions, cleaner food.
