I ordered potato skins bacon on side and got home to Danbury to find salsa slopped over everything. No side container just slopped and soggy on everything! Who would do that? My husband got turkey club cost $10 and got about 10 French fries. Terrible! So mad about the potato skins

Typical tried-and-true American diner. Delicious pancakes, eggs, and other selections. Dinner is great, too. The best part about the place is the warm, old gentleman who always welcomes you with sincerity and a smile. He always makes it a point to greet my two sons as if he were expecting them, "Hello, brothers!" When you can't decide on where to... More

Long story short manager(owners son) was the rudest nastiest person I've ever encountered in any eatery from the moment we walked in. When I asked a waitress if there was someone else I could speak to she was just as rude. Turns out that's his sister. Our waitress was very sweet and was belittled by her boss. My family and... More

We were seated by a miserable man, and our waitress wasn't much better. The food however was good, and we were served relatively quickly. I love diners, so I liked it just for that aspect. It served it's purpose since it was really the only place around. We were going to the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market, so this fit the... More

Windmill has been a New Milford Staple for generations. The food is decent. Not great but it doesn't pretend to be something that it is not. Soups are always a good choice though they tend to be very salty. They are home-made. The place is always super-clean and when business is slow we always see the wait staff wiping and... More

It is a diner. I am a little squirmish when it comes to food and cleanliness. I do not think this diner is up to par as far as cleanliness.

Nothing special at all about this spot. Food is acceptable but no wow factor. It has a good location near the Elephant's Trunk Flea market, so my guess is that it gets a lot of first-time visitors who don't know the area,

I've been going here since I was 12 years old. The staff & atmosphere hasnt changed much. But when you've grown up in the same diner for so many years , that a good thing!! The breakfast & lunch entree's are just a I remeber 26 years later!! i'd rather come here 4 breakfast & lunch than anywhere else because... More

I stopped over on the Windmill Diner while I was visiting some old friends. We were waiting for a movie and decided to eat there. Even walking into the diner felt like a bad idea. The atmosphere is not too great and it feels almost dirty. The waitress that served us wasn't very polite and seemed like she just wanted... More
