I have been to Joey's many times over the last ten years. It was always good with fresh seafood dishes and good service. About a year had passed in between our last visits and it was not at all what we had in the past. Went specifically for lobster, but at 6pm, they were already sold out of lobsters! Really?... More

Had a bad experience here, it was good several years ago, but it must have gone down hill in a hurry. First off, they didn't accept a gift certificate purchased a couple years earlier - I thought gift certificates never expire?? not at joeys. Anyway, after ordering an 2 $8.00 glasses of wine, I thought dinner would be off to... More

Family group of 7. The lobster (2lb) was the best!! The pasta dishes and sauces ..real Italian! The salmon fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant and they do accept reservations. Don't forget about desserts!

My wife and I stopped in the other night for dinner. Nice old house setting, very pleasant. Not busy when we were there, and i felt like they were waiting for us to finish so they could go home. I had swordfish, Cajun style. Well they must have been pretty boring Cajuns that explained Cajun style to the chef. I... More

I had Rhode Island clams as an appetizer and Atlantic salmon in butter and lemon sauce as an entree. My partner had the chicken parmigiana with linguine. The fish was excellent. Beautifully cooked; vegetables were fresh green beans and carrots. Salad could have used more variety in the lettuce, but the mustard vinaigrette was fine. The desserts were disappointing--chocolate mud... More

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. My boyfriend and I stopped in one Sunday evening for dinner and I was horribly dissapointed. The atmosphere was quaint and homey. And I liked that the menu was full of simple, classic seafood dishes. We ordered the stuffed clams as an appetizer - they were flavorful with large... More

Having lived in the area for many, many years and having heard great things about Joey's, we decided to finally give it a try. Disappointing for sure. The menu is not intriguing at all and the food was pricey and not good. The fish entree I had was bland and dry. The only halfway decent thing on the menu was... More

We ate here because we wanted Seafood & had heard good things about this place. The food was fresh, but not fantastic. I was looking forward to the "Best Seafood Stuffing" and didn't get that. While the atmosphere is a bit dark, it can be very romantic. Also, was a little disappointed that a side of "White Clam" was an... More

When we have an event to mark like a birthday or family get together we go to Joey's. It's consistently good - best seafood in town and you always feel comfortable there. It just feels right at Joeys - good food, good service, generous drinks.

AWFUL. DON'T BE DECEIVED. Very poor service. Took sooo long in between each serving, we were actually bored. We did not order dessert because of it. It is a small, dark, DRAB old house. We paid $60. for my stuffed lobster that barely had stuffing. The stuffing that was there was not good either. The wine I was served was... More
