A good place for coffee and a relaxing and informal lunch; there are always interesting people there and plenty of newspapers to browse through whlst you're waiitng for your cappucino to cool down.

if your looking for a nice dining experience in a charming lowkey atmosphere this is the place! Attentive staff that is oh so helpful. A great menu also!! Something for everyone. I'd recommend the Tuna there it's very good, pan seared if I'm not mistaken in a nice flaky bread crumb crust. Theres also a variety of Live Music there... More

I went to brunch at the Bank Street Tavern for Mother's day and what a treat it turned out to be. The atmosphere was nice and the wait staff was really friendly and made us feel at home. The brunch menu was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I had the "Hot Brown", a generous portion that had a slice of french... More

Absolutely horrible. At first glance I thought "hey another tasteful restaurant" but don't judge this book by it's cover. They've got the atmosphere part down but the food, prices and service are a whole other story. To start our waitress was less than attentive. I've worked in fine dining and know that it wasn't a matter of being short staffed.... More

Love relaxing by the fireplace. Wait staff very friendly and warm . Delicious food with high quality meats. Great place to unwind after a hard day. Love the entertainment on weekend nights. Will definitely make it a regular on my restaurant list.

My husband and I had dinner at the Bank Street Tavern on a Friday night. After a cold, long week of snow days with the kids, it was really nice to get out. We sat downstairs in one of their nice cozy booths. I had the french onion soup for starters and my husband had the seared diver scallop. The... More

This new restaurant got off to a rocky start in September, but has made some quick changes, including new chefs and management and the results are now excellent. When we first went to the the Bank Street Tavern, the food was very good but not what we would call excellent. The second time left something to be desired - the... More

We recently hosted our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner for around 20 guests at Bank Street Tavern. They were very easy to work with in menu-planning. The food was really good and the service was excellent. We loved the private room and felt well taken care of. Our favorite buffet dishes were the lasagna rolls and the beef tenderloin. We... More
