Each and every time I visit this cute, laid-back, coffee shop I am more impressed than the last time. First, they clearly use the freshest ingredients: you can taste it in every bite. I don't actually know which item is my favorite but here are some, in no particular order. -The hummus and bagel chips. Oh my! Warm and crisp,... More

Thank you for your kind review! We are working very hard to continuously improve every aspect of our business and your comments give me hope that our efforts are working. The "secret" to the smooth eggs in the quiche is our immersion blender. We mix the eggs, milk, and salt/pepper with the blender prior to pouring over the remaining ingredients.... More

We ate breakfast here with great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. There was plenty of parking right on the side of the restaurant. Staff was pleasant and there was no wait.

Firstly, let me say that although I am a coffee drinker, I am not a connoisseur; I would absolutely not be able to discuss the acidity of one coffee versus another, nor could I be bothered to, I just want to drink coffee that I like the taste of; and that is what I find a the Bean, Just to... More

I was looking for a new place to try a good cup of coffee. I figured I would give New London a shot. I read the reviews on tripadvisor and selected Bean&Leaf. I drove around downtown a few times till I found it. Parking was easy. I arrived around 10:30AM on January 23,2014. There were a few people sitting around... More

I am very sorry about your disappointing visit to the Bean. We have tried to get our staff to understand the importance of quickly and accurately filling orders. Unfortunately we have a ways to go. One issue that was partially a factor during your visit was our POS system. When a order is put in the register, it is suppose... More

I feel I'm jumping the gun on this review, after only two visits it's really a bit premature to add my two cents but here goes. I do like this clean and modern looking coffee house a lot. So far it ticks all the right boxes, and despite the minimalist somewhat industrial design, the high ceilings and very basic furniture... More

Visited Bean and Leaf on a Saturday morning. Appreciated the fresh and interesting choices for breakfast. I had a breakfast bowl with rice, beans, spinach, and free range eggs. Plenty of food for the price. Had certainly more than I could finish. THey had a good selection of scones and pastries as well. I am not a coffee drinker so... More

I was with the previous reviewer and agree with all her points. Maybe if your staff pointed out about the parking garage we would have known. It was mentioned to them about parking. The coffee we got tasted horrible and who knows maybe the changes you have made were noticed. We prefer good coffee. Yes my friend reviewed fast food,... More

Ever since they moved they have gone downhill. Their old location I got excellent coffee and service. Here it is lackluster and parking is harder. I'll be finding a new place to get coffee.

I live in the area and The Leaf and Bean is nearby offering great coffee and a wonderful menu of organic options. Unfortunately, the service is slow and so rude that I rarely go there. I would like to be a regular, but the waitstaff at the counter are not engaged and really lack any guise of wanting to provide... More

My wife and I tried this place, and while she was amused by its vegan/vegetarian/organic feel, I found the sandwiches to be just ok. The decor is that of a local coffee shop that specializes in artisinal teas, fair trade coffees, and a variety of snacking opportunities. The do offer free wi-fi and live music, which are among the only... More
