A friendly, comfortable coffee house featuring our own freshly roasted, fairly traded, organic coffees, teas, and great food! We host local events and feature music several nights each week. A place where locals gather for a good atmosphere

A place where locals gather for a good atmosphere! Met a few people that lived next door in the condos. A coffee bar meets Italian place. Perhaps it was late in the day but there were few in any cakes, cookies etc... available. Coffee is locally roasted and tasted good. Nice atmosphere. Nice to... read more

Even when it wasn't as promoted for the food, this cafe has definitely topped my list of favorites for their coffee and comfy sitting. Great place for me to study and get work done, especially cause of the lighting. Washington Street Cafe is also notably good, just not as great of lighting in my personal opinion.

Great coffee and pastries, the staff is prompt and helpful. We had espresso, regular coffee, macaroon and muffin--all made in house and all delicious.

My husband and I went to this restaurant because we were in the area and we read the reviews and it looked nice, my advice is Don t waste your time, there was only one other table in the restaurant being served, they took about 45 minutes to bring out our food, it was ok, nothing to write home about,... I've been to Bean & Leaf a couple times. My most recent trip there was the best now that it is under new management. The food is awesome. I had the cuke salad with hummus and was really happy with the crisp cukes, fresh tomatoes, and super tasty hummus. The dressing on the salad was nice and lemony, just the... More

Each and every time I visit this cute, laid-back, coffee shop I am more impressed than the last time. First, they clearly use the freshest ingredients: you can taste it in every bite. I don't actually know which item is my favorite but here are some, in no particular order. -The hummus and bagel chips. Oh my! Warm and crisp,... More

Thank you for your kind review! We are working very hard to continuously improve every aspect of our business and your comments give me hope that our efforts are working. The "secret" to the smooth eggs in the quiche is our immersion blender. We mix the eggs, milk, and salt/pepper with the blender prior to pouring over the remaining ingredients.... More

We ate breakfast here with great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. There was plenty of parking right on the side of the restaurant. Staff was pleasant and there was no wait.

Firstly, let me say that although I am a coffee drinker, I am not a connoisseur; I would absolutely not be able to discuss the acidity of one coffee versus another, nor could I be bothered to, I just want to drink coffee that I like the taste of; and that is what I find a the Bean, Just to...
