The food was great and the service was fun, friendly and pleasant. They memorize the name of each customer along with what they ordered. It was hard to understand how these people could have ever been seen as unfriendly by another reviewer. I guess they read the review and made a quick improvement before we walked in. We loved looking... More

Always a work week staple, fresh sandwiches, salads, soups and coffee. The back deck is nice and sunny (fair warning, overlooking the train tracks). Bring cash, or you'll need to meet the credit card minimum.

From the time you walk through the door your trying too figure out how things work there. Do I sit down, do I order, do I ask for help, how does this all work? Anyway, the correct answer is you walk up and order at register like dunkin donuts. I ordered one of the sandwich options from the board and... More

A great spot to grab a coffee and some chow, enjoy the paper and eclectic conversation. Even a cigar on the deck overlooking the water on a nice day!

A local friend brought us here for tea and dessert after we ate lunch elsewhere. We ordered what we wanted at the counter and went to sit down after we got what we wanted. Staff behind the counter seemed a little disorganized. Each person didn’t seem to know what the others were doing. One lady took our order and went... More

A flash back in time. Quite a nice cafe - comfortable, friendly, a good cup of coffee and lots of baked items for snacking.

Lovely, quaint downtown New London eatery owned by the children of 2 fabulous different New London icons. All homemade food, lots of sweets, and good healthy choices. Back deck to sit and enjoy during nice weather

This is a great place to walk in and grab a quick breakfast or to hang around, relax and enjoy your coffee, companion, the paper and breakfast. I sat so long I overheard a group at the next table who were eating lunch and having a meeting. This is a treasure. WE live in Tampa and i wish we had... More

Downtown New London, with an outdoor deck that overlooks the train station and the river, this restaurant is a one-of-a-kind. The wonderful smell of coffee greets you at the door, helpful and friendly staff, large menu to choose from, and the great view from the back deck. We had bagels with different toppings, juice, and a variety of coffees, all... More

This is a great little coffee shop. They are right next to the train station and when you have a little time before your train, its great to stop in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The atmosphere is laid back and mellow with an undertone of hipster. The food is good and the coffee is hot or cold depending... More
