Great food great scenery

Freshest seafood and plentiful servings. RI clear broth chowder really tasty and full of clams and potatoes. Save room for Gifford's of Maine ice cream.

This is a casual, "order at the window" place on the water in New London. You have a view of a marina and boats entering and leaving. Stand in line to order. Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm we stood for about 15 minutes. You can bring your own beer, wine, etc. People seemed to do that. They brought paper table... More

Every time we are in the New London area visiting my parents we go to Captain Scott's dock to get hot lobster rolls. Don't expect fancy, do expect good New England food. It is literally on a dock with local fishing boats as your as your scenery. There is no table service you wait in line to order, and you... More

Had the clam fritters, the NE Clam chowder, and the Lobster Roll. The Lobster Roll was the star. I'd skip the fritters and chowder in favor of either clam bellies or something similar.

Situated between the coastal railroad and the marina there is only one way in to this hidden gem known mostly by the locals. Not too hard to find the way with GPS or map though and close to New London centre, but because of being in a cul-de-sac road not really a place to walk to. It's well worth getting... More

We went on a Sunday around 5 PM. We waited in line a little over 20 minutes to order, but once we ordered it didn't take super-long for the food to be ready. We ordered lobster dinners (includes 1 1/4 lb lobster, corn on the cob, cole slaw, and red potatoes or fries -- we went with the potatoes), 6-piece... More

Living locally, we get to Captain Scott's once or twice a summer. It's a nice outing. You can bring your own alcohol and sit under the pavilion. And the food, which is typical New England fare of lobsters, clam patters, various seafood rolls and sometimes a raw bar, is always very tasty and satisfying. The lobster rolls are very good.... This is a hidden gem in New London. One of the best Lobster Rolls i've ever had. Great chowder as well. Its off the main road down a street. However, the service is so fast and the food really is outstanding. Price is really not expensive either.

We enjoyed lobster roll and bisque at this nice place close to the boats at New London marina. Fantastic food and quick service. You queue to order your meal but we did not have to wait for long.

Great Lobster Bisque..... Really good price and real ingredient. Lobster here is better than the ones I had in Boston.
