I'm not the biggest fan of Indian food, but this place was rather good! The only thing I noticed was the price for the size of the portion, was a little steep. I would give it another try, being the service was so friendly and everyone on staff had a big ole' smile on their face. The server was very... More

Most dinner dishes are $13-14 so you may want to go for lunch where the same dishes are $7-8. Lamb vindaloo was nicely spiced and the Biryani is unique and very flavorful. Chicken Tikka Masala was weird - it was sweet! First time that's been true, And the Mala Kofta was also in a sweetish creme sauce. If you are... More

We start dinner with a genuinely warm and appreciative welcome and soon are served various delicious fried vegetarian appetizers, learn that internet password here is "freetibet" and have staff rush out to help my friend find a parking space. A really sweet start to a dinner. The quality of the food and the service held up through dinner. A very... More

Perfect location for dinner before a Garde Theater event; delicious food (not too hot) and great service and very considerate staff. We love it.

My wife and I stop here often for lunch. We are not expert on Indian Food but we know what we like. We have always enjoyed the Northern Indian Restaurant and will keep on coming back.

The title of my review says it all this is very good place for northern Indian food which is quite sophisticated compared to the food of southern India. The staff is competent and friendly. Casual atmosphere

When friends asked us if we were interested in an Indian Restaurant, we really did not know as we had had very little experience with Indian food and were somewhat concerned about Indian spices. But on their recommendation we went along and had a very enjoyable meal at Northern Indian. When we ordered a variety of dishes we specified "mild... More

We stopped by for the weekday lunch buffet and enjoyed our lunch. The chef is Tibetan and the buffet lunch has many meat dishes but few vegetarian dishes. Beautifully decorated with Tibetan decor. Very clean friendly restaurant. I enjoyed the egg fried rice and shahi Dahl makhani. Definitely worth a visit. Just up the street from the New London Amtrak... More

If you like Indian cuisine this is a really great option. Everything I've tried- vindaloo, pakoras, okra was well made and well seasoned. I like it spicy and the preparation just has the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. The staff is pleasant and helpful, although I've only gotten take-out at lunch time. Someday I will eat-in and try... More
