Service was not good. Four of us - and the service was quite slow, but then they brought one person's food much later than the others. One of us ordered a second glass of wine to be brought with the meal, and had to ask four times to get it. We told them we were in a bit of a... More

Had a lovely meal on the patio last week. We each had a special - the tenderloin in gorgonzola cream sauce was out of this world (my choice) and the seafood stew brimmed with lobster and many other goodies. Portions are generous, the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

My biggest gripe with this place is the menu. It's just not balanced. The appetizer offerings are limited and there are many items repeated. Lobster twice, salmon twice, risotto few times and also with the special. That being said, the food we did order came out hot, fresh, and other than lacking in salt(- (Just keep salt on the table!!!!)... More

Fresh and creative and although the place could use a bit of sprucing up, I must say my husband and I loved every bite and were surprised to find Gaspars this enjoyable. Delicious wine , bread and salad and our entrees were cooked to perfection. Desserts looked appealing but no room! Will go back soon.

Small, intimate, great food, good menu, excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Two of us had wonderful salads, two others got delicious sandwiches, and their double espresso martinis were out of this world! In downtown New London, parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. Definitely would go back.

If I could give zero stars I would! I have never, ever left a restaurant without leaving a tip. I didn't this time either, because I didn't pay for my meal!!!! My companions, however, did pay for their meals but felt compelled to withhold the tip due to the outrageously disappointing service. First off, the three of us (ladies) were... More

I could not describe this street level restaurant as having a great view even though there is New London Harbor out there someplace. But you came here for the food, right, and there is at lest one really talented chef back there in the kitchen.

Good food with creativity without skimping on the serving size. Gaspar's tried to use local suppliers so often times for specials you will be able to sample local fish and produce. Overall, service is attentive. If you want a quieter meal sit on the side without the bar. I look forward to trying their brunch!

Had the salmon on a bed of greens-was to die for. Service was excellent as we'll. they also had Angry Orchard on tap-a big plus. Hubby had a smoked prime rib sandwich-said it was excellent.

This restaurant has a good selection of entrees and they are always tasty. There are also specials noted on a board in the restaurant and they are always great. The staff is also very friendly and the service is good.
