Beautiful Valentine's day. Thanks, L'Orcio!

Beautiful brownstone, warm intimate atomosphere, friendly knowledgeable service. Meal beautifully presented. Excellent wines,.app, entree and dessert. This was our second trip on a special occasion, but it won't be our last! Our advice: Go!

Our family enjoyed a delicious meal here and the service was warm and friendly. The chickpea ravioli and pasta ragu were standouts, as was the strip steak which was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The vegetable sides (spinach and broccoli) were also nicely cooked and seasoned. The waitstaff was helpful and knowledgeable. They happily accommodated my daughter's request for plain... More

My husband and I eat here whenever we want to dine. The food is wonderful, tasty, artfully prepared and creative. The service is impeccable - there is plenty of wait time between courses to make conversation and have a leisurely meal. My only complaint is that sometimes the restaurant can be a little noisy, but other than that, we will... More

Four of us went to this restaurant for a first visit and had a great experience. The service was first rate and the food delicious. Two of our party had the Osso Bucco special which just fell of the bone. Our only negative observation was that we felt that some type of starch should have been served with this entree... More

I have to agree with other reviewers who mention the terrible acoustics in the space. We have eaten here a number of times, and the noise is worst upstairs, but still terrible downstairs. One moderately enthusiastic table can really wreck the whole experience. We have moved due to noise on more than one occasion, so it is odd to me... More

My wife and I have enjoyed eating at L'orcio on a number of occasions. The wait staff is very efficient and the food was delicious but the noise level is almost unbearable. We sat in the downstairs dining room which has about ten tables. We had a difficult time carrying on a conversation because the background noise was so intense.... More

I visited this restaurant once. Honestly coming from New York L'orcio is nothing special and the atmosphere is really boring.

While visiting New Haven we wanted some really good Italian food. We definitely found it here. My husband had ziti with sausage and a red sauce which he raved about. I had a ravioli dish with wild mushrooms, it was sooo good. For dessert we shared a Mascarpone and Nutella crepe....There are no words to describe this wonder. Excellent meal,... More

Go four blocks past Grove on Orange St, turn right on Eld, and on State between Eld and Pearl you'll find some of the best food we've had in New Haven. Northern Italian, the cuisine was full of flavor and fresh herbs and the dishes were unusual. We had a comfortable table on the second floor overlooking a windowbox full... More

Went here with a group of friends, service was excellent, the food was better. Each of us raved about our meals. Fish in traditional style (looking back at me) or filleted, both were delicious. The gnocchi was made fresh, tender and amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best in New Haven in my opinion.
