The 91 Diner has been in business for over 25 years and there is a good reason for that longevity. It has great diner food. I lived in the area 15 years ago and went there. During a recent visit to the New Haven area we took a friend for breakfast. We all loved our meals. I had french toast... More

The decor of this place is confusing. Is it a Chinese place, since it has a pagoda on top? Is it "American", since the outside is sort of nondescript? Is it Greek? Italian? 1970? Maybe 1980s? How many textures and patterns are in this place? Anyways... We happened upon this place for breakfast when our original destination was closed. Pretty... More

I stopped at this diner to have a quick breakfast. it is right off the I91 South & Rt 17. this quaint diner still has all the furnishings of the 1960's-1970's, like time stood still. Had a breakfast special 2 eggs, Home fries and Rye Toast with Coffee, Juice all for $4.95. Everything was good, but what really tasted amazing... More

This is my husband and I's favorite place to go for breakfast every weekend! It has been our staple for the past 4 years! I typically get a breakfast platter (eggs or pancakes, can't go wrong with either) and I get french fries because they are cooked just the way I like! My husband usually gets their chicken wraps and... More

I have never been upset enough to write a bad review on TripAdvisor, but this experience was so unreal, I had to share. I was in town with my family and 2 other families on a Sunday morning (14 total people). We were greeted by a nice young man who seated us in a back room. As soon as the... More

If your idea of Diner is the great ones in NJ like the Tick Tock, this doesn't come close. But I was very relieved to find it on a late hungry cold travel night, not much else around there. Completely standard fare but well done, huge portions, good service, friendly. My chicken parm was about an acre, the rice pudding... More
