My co-worker made reservations online for my going away lunch. We showed up yesterday (2/20/14) and walked in, to see construction workers, and no tables/chairs/anything. We asked if they had moved. The workers said "No, they will be back open after renovations". I just visited their website to confirm. There is no notice that they are closed for renovations. We... More

Visited as part of a business meeting with four others. Food was good and nice variety, but service was slow. Hard to get drinks refreshed etc. I would go back once to give them another shot. The food was good.

We wandered into Kudeta without a reservation on a Saturday night and they were so accommodating even though they were already busy. Great quality starters as in Prawns on Toast (delicious) Satay and Tempura. Thought these were better than the mains. Fabulous service - we felt really well looked after.

For what you pay, I don't see the value. Service was ok. The meals were nothing special. I ordered the sushi deluxe, and for a price tag of $29 it had no presentation, no special sauce, no plate decoration and just ok flavor. A few of our guests ordered the grilled ribeye and no one's steak was cooked correctly -... More

Our experience here was disappointing. We were expecting a unique Asian Fusion menu in an inviting atmosphere and were met with a diner-sized menu offering everything from 2 pages of sushi to Thai to Chinese stir fry. The atmosphere was cold with cement floors in cavernous rooms. Our waitress never removed the extra settings from our table, but did inform... More

We went here recently because it was nearby the Schubert. I read the reviews that talked about using frozen food and hoped that things had improved but sadly they have not. The place has potential but it fails on many levels. We were greeted at the door by a women who looked as if she just got of the NY... More

For ambiance, tasty food, and location, Kudeta is my all around favorite. Whenever we are meeting friends or family in New Haven, I suggest going here. After the meal, the reaction is always amazement and positive with my guests saying that they plan to return. And for sushi lovers, there is a sushi restaurant within Kudeta from which you can...
