Surprise when one goes upstairs

It was New Haven restaurant week and we debated what place that would be new to us to try. Pacifico won out. I also knew I would have trouble finding parking. True- all places at the nearest lot were full! So I had a few blocks to walk. In the mean time, my husband whom I had dropped off... read more

It is restaurant week in New Haven and a three-course meal at Pacifico is $32. The food is simply great. The service is perfect and warm. The restaurant is delightful, fun, colorful, bright. The appetizers, corn cakes with short ribs and quinoa croquets were veery tasty and just the right amount. The paella is terrific, chocked with seafood and excellent... More

This place sucks. Sat a the bar, slow service. Bill was 27.00 and got charged $50.00 for a coffee and a cocktail. Never go back again. Won't be in business long with this kind of customer service. Shame on them!!!

Went with a party of 10, very good service and everyone loved their meals! Best Mojito in CT! Also, a must try is their Absolute and Ginger Beer, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how tasty this one is! I had the duck, it was awesome! My wife had the skirt steak, she loved it. Highly recommend this place.

Found this restaurant on groupon which for $55 we got 2 specialty cocktails 2 tapas and two entrees. The food was delicious but my only complaint would be that it took forever to come, even though we ordered everything at once. The ambiance was nice, and I would definately visit this restaurant again.

Went there last night before the theater. Bread came with tomato spread - almost like tomato paste with olive oil. I thought it was ok but my wife didn't like it at all. Quinoa croquettes were pretty good. My wife's Shortribs on Arepa was good. My shrimp tapas dish was decent but my pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon was undercooked.... More

While many restaurants in downtown New Haven have come and gone, Pacifico has established itself as a mainstay for innovative pan-Latin cuisine. They do a very effective job of promoting their ongoing special occasion menus and the 4-course New Year's Eve menu at $55 per person was a solid value in an arena where many establishments go over the top... My girlfriend had been to Pacifico before and said I HAD to try it. Fortunately a Groupon popped up so I bought it. The deal was for two people and each gets one drink, a tapas and an entree. We each had a Mojito (one classic & one pineapple). Our tapas choices were a cerviche and crispy oysters over a... More

My co-workers and I decided to try this place out on a Thursday when we could all get together after work. There were 5 of us and we were promptly sat at the nice sized window seat in front. Our waitress came over, gave us our menu, and asked if we wanted a drink. One of the women asked if... More

i asked in my OpenTable lunch reservation to seat us in a quieter section of the restaurant, as I was dining with two 90 year olds who are hearing-challenged, so they sat us right under a speaker. When we asked that they turn the music down, they turned it off, but then turned the TV on at a high volume.... More
