The service, superb. The food, delicious. The price, reasonable. Five people dining together and everyone's meal was perfect. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with dinner and the price was still reasonable.

W had a great time celebrating my Mother in law's birthday at this farm to table restaurant. She said it was the best steak she had in years and they gave her a free dessert as well. The waiter was super nice and accommodating and they offer free valet parking on the weekend. The food is fresh, delicious, and the... More

Went there on a Groupon and felt that we got a good deal. The goat cheese salad was terrific. Our server tried to talk us into switching either the entree or the included mesclum salad for something else but we resisted...should have gone for it, as there's only so much lettuce a person can eat. Entrees included the sirloin with... More

My wife and I had not been to Christopher Martin in many years. Not sure why, but we had not. When Groupon offered a deal we took it and had dinner there last night. The food was good. Calamari was prepared very nicely and it was a most generous portion. I had the rack of lamb. The meat was excellent... More

Its restaurant week in New Haven 3 course lunch for $18.00 dinner for $32.00 at 30 downtown restaurants. We whet to Christopher Martin's Monday lunch. Diane order the chicken Saltimbocca Chicken Breast layered with Prosciutto di Parma, Fresh Sage and Cato Corner Farm’s Cheese, over sautéed Baby Spinach with Mashed Potatoes. I had the Seared Sea Scallop over Linguini Sautéed... More

My friends and I came in for lunch and had a soup and salad. Our server took approximately 12 minutes to deliver our waters. Our French onion soups came 25 minutes later and completely lacked flavor, our salads came immediately after our soups. There was no spacing of our courses and while finally consuming our "appetizers," our meals were left... More

Lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong. Top shelf food in a 'home' type setting. Chicken sambuca off the charts for flavor and portions.

On a dark and rainy Sunday evening we arrived at this restaurant only to discover all the street parking was filled so we opted to valet park. The restaurant was fairly busy early in the evening and the adjoining pub must have been filled with patrons celebrating someone's birthday because it was quite loud early on. We were met at... More

This was our first time trying this restaurant, since we're new to the area. The interior has a pleasant enough atmosphere, nothing special. They first brought us some bread and oil: the bread was delicious, but the oil was not up to par, surely not extra virgin. We ordered both our meals with the house mesclun salad with balsamic dressing.... More

That's an odd title, we know, but it really sums up the experience. The atmosphere is just average. It's a little storefront restaurant with limited dining space and little effort has been given to décor. Also, it is attached to the bar and could benefit from some soundproofing. We were given bread and dipping oil to begin and it was... More
