As an italian lady, I can say this restaurant is the best so far! Great food, fresh vegetables, fresh fish, and a handsome chef who greets you politely! We`re going back to eat there the incoming week.

Haven't been back to New Haven much since graduating from Yale, so I really wanted to have a special dining experience when an old friend and I arranged to meet there for the day. Found Adriana on Tripadvisor's list of New Haven restaurants-- looked like a traditional Italian restaurant, and decided to give it a try. This turned out to... More

Heard so many favorable comments about this restaurant, decided to take my friends who definitely wanted "something Italian", Thought I had been to most every popular one in this area, including the ones in the Italian neighborhood of New Haven, but I just added this one to my list. Had the best sea bass ever, and my associates selected everything... More

Excellent food, ambiance and service. They serve a lot of food. So, sharing dishes is a great alternative to try different choices and not get a fat bill. Carpaccio, Insalata di Pesce, the Oysters and Calamari are my preferred appetizers. When they have the sea bass fillet they serve with spinach that is my preferred dish. Their Osso Bucco is... More

Visited this restaurant last night for the first time. First - arrival: We arrived in the parking lot, complete with security guard (which is a nice addition for this neighborhood - both a parking lot with ample available parking and the extra security), went inside for our 5:30 reservation (all they had available when we called a few days ago... LOVE!!!!! the food here. If you like tomato and mozzarella, you must have the Burrata appetizer (not on the menu, but is usually available as a special), and also the fried calamari app., the crust tastes like fried bacon fat. The entrees that we have tried were all great.

Arrived 25 minutes prior to my reservation for a party of 4. Maitre De said we could wait in the bar so we went in, ordered a couple of drinks, and sat at a vacant table. Our friends arrived shortly thereafter and sat at the table with us. 15 minutes prior to our reservation, the Maitre De walked into the... More

Great food with generous portions and reasonable prices. The ambience could be a bit better. There is a security guard patrolling the parking lot. I had delicious sea bass. My husband loved his veal parmigiana. It's not on Wooster Street but it rivals those famous New Haven eateries.

This restaurant continuously exceeds our expectations. Tucked into an up and coming neighborhood, Adriana's is our choice for fine dining when out with friends or family in the New Haven area. The service has always been responsive and friendly. The food is fresh and prepared daily with the executive chef having finesse and experience. The Fried Calamari is one of... More
