We've tried a couple of times to get to Sally's or Pepe's and are put off by the long lines. Terrific little pizza & pasta joint in New Haven's Little Italy. I didn't actually have the pizza, but it looked outstanding. I had the "Chicken A Luigi" and I loved it. We'll be back for sure! more

Forget the long line at Frank Pepe's, head a few doors down to Abate's. Great wood-fired oven pizza. Other than 'pies,' the other Italian entrees are a tad uninspired, but ENORMOUS. Everything we had was good. more
