Zinc is a first class restaurant that can compete with Union League, Olea and Roia. The food and service are excellent.

Zinc is near the top of our New Haven favorites. Their food is consistently excellent. I must have had the tuna with spring rolls and crispy spinach a dozen times and it never disappoints. Denise really is an excellent chef with a great imagination.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is long and narrow with dark interiors and a small bar. We had cocktails, wine, small plates, large plates and dessert. By far, the best dish of the night was the small plate--Pork Belly with tomato jam and pickled cucumbers. This dish had great execution from start to finish and the... More

A large group of us had dinner at Zinc last night and thoroughly enjoyed the setting, ambience, service, and -- best of all -- the creative and delicious menu. I had a scrumptious risotto and my husband had the tuna, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this delightful spot.

Have eaten here on many occasions both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is unique - fabulous selection of wines and their wait staff is very attentive. Excellent food that is always intriguing (flash fried Kale) and a nice cheese and desert list as well.

What a wonderful birthday dinner! Zinc's menu offers amazing farm to table dishes that are well-conceived and executed--there was not one sour note in the whole evening. We started with their amuse-bouche: a corn-fennel flatbread with a peach marmalade that was very tasty. We also had the organic greens with a white balsamic vinaigrette, carmelized onions, toasted pumpkin seeds and... More

Arrived on time.Dressed for the ocassion.Three young girls were at the hostess stand. One of them asked for our name, then looked me up and down, but never... More

This is a foodie place but should also appeal to everyone. The menu is varied from scallops to pork bellies and a lot in between. My only complain is the wine was at room temp or warmer, it should have been 65-68 closer to cellar temperature. Well worth the trip will be back.
