I made a special effort to eat here since it was on every major list of Top 10 pizza restaurants. It was outstanding. It was worth the wait. It was worth the extra drive. We ordered 3 pizzas. The White Clam is excellent and I still can not believe I liked it and that it was really that good. The... More

Don't mind the line outside Pepe's, the pizza you get here is well worth it. I never had anything that comes even close to the white clam pizza.

The white clam pizza and summer pie are nothing short of amazing. I had the summer pie for the first time and it is terrific. Fresh local ingredients, simple and exploding with flavor. If you haven't had the white clam pizza, it is a must try if you like seafood.

I did a comparative taste test on Pepe's, Sally's, and Modern, getting a sausage pepperoni at each location. I have to say, Modern won the contest, but Pepe's white clam pie is truly unique in the world of pizza. service is average.. but that's part of the experience.

Grew up on Wooster street pizza. Pepe's, Always on the money for the best white clam, but any other pizza and the best sauce you've ever tried on a pizza, just walk down the street to Sally;s Apizza. My favorite is Red with Garlic.

We had lunch here on a weekday. There was a line to get in but it moved fast and we were quickly in a booth. We had a salad for the group and 2 pies. My only complaint is the table wasn't big enough for all the food. Nice thin crust with fresh toppings.

This is the first pizzeria to have pizza in The US. Thin crust baked in a wood fire oven. Their tomato pie-fresh tomatoes is only during summer months.. They have clam pizza which is very good. They have now expanded in Fairfield, Danbury, Farmington, and even one in the Mohegan Sun Casino in Ct.. If you are ever here in... More

Love the pizza! Can't believe that living in ct I waited so long to try it! Just moved to PA and now only eat pizza when I go back to visit because it's just not the same here.

Had lunch at this nationally acclaimed restaurant (at least so I was told that the place had been featured in several TV spots plus magazine reviews) and after waiting well over an hour in drizzling rain it was a disappointment. I love joints that surprise and delight by featuring a specialty out of the ordinary in taste and quality. Throw... More

This place has been around for many years and is a popular place in New Haven for tourists. I live in the area and went back this week after 25 years since the last visit. Very good food. The place is nice, service is good , interesting to watch the pizza being made, a little over priced. I have had... More
