I have been to the Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana many times over the years. It is New Haven's premier pizza restaurant. The flavor, the style, the service, the selections and the history all combine to make this the premier Pizzeria in the USA!

This is by far the best pizza in CT.. They have the best white clam pie.. Loaded with fresh chopped clams and garlic. Also I believe the best pepperoni and onion I've ever had. Delicious well done pepperoni balance with sweet chopped onion. No matter which pie you get you can taste how fresh the dough is covered with the... More

This pizza was fantastic. Fresh! The kitchen is open and was fun for the kids to watch. We had a line when we got there, but it didn't take long for us (5 people) to get in. The place isn't fancy (nor did we expect that) but it's well kept and clean. Would love to go back. This pizza ranks... More

Family is everything at this place. Their history is proudly displayed in the entryway and they know their pizza, consistently winning awards. You have to try the 'Original Tomato Pie.' It's a popular Yale student hangout and a real slice of Americana.

I made a special effort to eat here since it was on every major list of Top 10 pizza restaurants. It was outstanding. It was worth the wait. It was worth the extra drive. We ordered 3 pizzas. The White Clam is excellent and I still can not believe I liked it and that it was really that good. The... More

Don't mind the line outside Pepe's, the pizza you get here is well worth it. I never had anything that comes even close to the white clam pizza.

The white clam pizza and summer pie are nothing short of amazing. I had the summer pie for the first time and it is terrific. Fresh local ingredients, simple and exploding with flavor. If you haven't had the white clam pizza, it is a must try if you like seafood.

I did a comparative taste test on Pepe's, Sally's, and Modern, getting a sausage pepperoni at each location. I have to say, Modern won the contest, but Pepe's white clam pie is truly unique in the world of pizza. service is average.. but that's part of the experience.

Grew up on Wooster street pizza. Pepe's, Always on the money for the best white clam, but any other pizza and the best sauce you've ever tried on a pizza, just walk down the street to Sally;s Apizza. My favorite is Red with Garlic.

We had lunch here on a weekday. There was a line to get in but it moved fast and we were quickly in a booth. We had a salad for the group and 2 pies. My only complaint is the table wasn't big enough for all the food. Nice thin crust with fresh toppings.
