We have a saying in Hebrew, when we want to describe something that cann't get any better becouse it's the best, we call it End of the Way. Well this place serves End of the Way pizza. We were almost discouraged by the long waiting line in the street but boy was the waiting worth it. This coal oven pizza... More

The water in New Haven may be full of the rejected political satire of the Yale Marching Band, but something in it makes for a tasty a pizza pie. Do yourself a favor and save 2 hours of your life by calling ahead for pickup, then have a delicious pickup in the nearby park rather than waiting for the small... More

Finally! I never thought I'd get here, but today (Sunday) we arrived to a line at 12:30 that took about 20 minutes. Stick with the original location; they nave an addition next door. There was plenty of street parking down some of the blocks. Two hour limit. You won't need more. The place was very nice inside and very clean.... More

My boyfriend and I decided to have our anniversary dinner at Frank Pepe's after hearing rave reviews. He's a student at Yale, so we wanted to visit while I was in town. Of course we ordered the white clam pizza (medium) for the two of us to share, because of all the fuss we'd heard. I hate to say it,... More

All of the reviews of the pizza here were spot on.. Excellent brick oven pizza! Don't be deterred by the line out front.. It's worth the wait.

Best Pizza ever. Perfect crust, perfect filling, delicious from start to finish. The crust has some sweetness to it, and char at the edge, and it is of just right thickness. This business had been in operation since 1925, so it is definitely an experience to eat there. Highly recommended.

Took my grandson to Pepe's for lunch. Waited 30 minutes for a table which was ok because ths was part of our day in New Haven. Had the medium pizza with no mozzarella, onions, mushrooms, and spinach. The crust was well done, not burned but crisp. The vegetables were fresh and rhe sauce tasty. The pizza was big but so... More

Best pizza in the USA! Classic ovens make the perfect "pie". Authentic pizza in a historic location. Depending on the time of day, there can be a line out the door and a bit of a wait. Recommend to go mid-week during the mid-afternoon. Don't expect fancy, it is not. It is just pizza at its best. Be sure to... More

Friendly staff and great pizza. We might have been the last table of the night and I'm really glad we go in because this place was awesome. Hit it on a family trip and we sampled four of their small pizza pies and loved every one.

The pizza was good, but not outstanding. I would go back again but I would not go that far out of my way to go to the pizzeria. Customer service was good.
