I am from NYC and we were in connecticut. I had to try pepe pizza. We waited for about half an hour. Pizza was good, but coming from NYC and especially Staten Island, where there are great pizza places, it was disappointing. The crust was very good . That was the highlight of the pizza. However the taste was just... More

If you can't wait for the best pizza in the world (Sally's of course) - Pepe's will do. Crust is thicker than Sally's and the sauce isn't as good.

In my opinion Frank Pepe is one of the best pizzas you can get anywhere in the US. We fondly remembered the first time we had their pizza several years ago, so upon our return to New Haven we made sure we had one of their delicious pies. We loved the white clam pizza and as we remembered, it was... More

We have been here 4 times in the past 2 months. Best brick oven pizza across the NH train tracks. You can walk from Union Station or try your luck at parking near Frank Pepe's. We have had some luck there in getting parking in the lot and also on the street. You don't put your name in. You just... More

Love the pizza, comes out nice and hot. Only bummer is having to wait outside on a cold day; but well worth it!

This is some of the best Neapolitan-style pizza I've had in the United States. Huge quantity. Very reasonable prices. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere.

I've been purchasing pizza at Pepe's since Sal Consiglio past away. The original Sally's pizza was great; however, subsequently to Sal's passing, I found the pizza to be terrible. Problem with Pepe's is that the family, kids and grandchildren, don't really care about their customers. One evening, while it was pouring outside, I was inside waiting for a pickup. The... More

We went about 4:30 on a weekday, and sat right down. There was room in the parking lot, and several empty booths. By the time we left it was packed. And I can see why; great pizza. Best I've had in a long time. It's what a great pizzeria should be; simple, straightforward, good and friendly service. Not much on... More

Love this pizza! If you find yourself there during late June/early September, make sure you enjoy the Fresh Tomato Pie. Perfect blend of fresh tomatoes, basil and garlic. So delicious my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

the title says it all, enough said. If you want fantastic pizza, try this. I'm from ohio, where there are pizza spots every corner, but I have to say none of them come close to the fresh mozzeralla, and the clam pizza.
