If you like spicy, you have to try the ghost pepper tacos! They are absolutely delicious! Even if they are super spicy you can still taste the flavor of a really good taco. The atmosphere is lovely. I went there both with big group of friends and romantic dates. The place is good for both occasions (maybe not the romantic... More

We had high expectations for this place considering it is quite pricy for Mexican cuisine. When we got there for dinner, there was only two more people in the whole restaurant, already a bad sign. We ordered nachos for appetizer, and steak and chicken arepas for entrees. The service was quite slow despite the place being practically empty. The food..well... More

Great food-from mild to spicy. Must try the guacamole and chicken mole. Excellent service. If you like Mexican food this is the restaurant in New Haven.

I popped into this restaurant with friends and we enjoyed some Dos XX on draft and a great lunch special. The food was prepared quickly, and was affordable and delicious! Friendly staff as well. Overall a great experience!

I think this strange place tries to be a bit fancier than it should. To start, the menu is a bit strange. You don't get any chips or salsa to start, and to get an appetizer of chips and guacamole for the table is $10. Seems pricey and didn't say anything about them being endless. The rest of the appetizers... More

We didn't dine here, just stopped in for a drink and appetizer after seeing a show across the street. We ordered the shrimp cervechi. It was so lacking in every way, really disappointing. It tasted like shrimp in a cup of melted ice. No cilantro or citrus flavor at all.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but just about all the food was bland. In particular, a Mexican restaurant lives and dies by the quality of its salsa. Great texture (some may not like it though), but there was no flavor: no salt, no cilantro (sp?), no garlic, no lime...nothing. Very odd. Good service, but we were there very... More

Generally tasty Mexican fare, extensive drink menu, excellent/attentive service. Useful location and pacing for dinner before a show, given the prompt food preparation and service.
