I popped into this restaurant with friends and we enjoyed some Dos XX on draft and a great lunch special. The food was prepared quickly, and was affordable and delicious! Friendly staff as well. Overall a great experience!

I think this strange place tries to be a bit fancier than it should. To start, the menu is a bit strange. We didn't dine here, just stopped in for a drink and appetizer after seeing a show across the street. We ordered the shrimp cervechi. It was so lacking in every way, really disappointing. It tasted like shrimp in a cup of melted ice. No cilantro or citrus flavor at all.

Generally tasty Mexican fare, extensive drink menu, excellent/attentive service. Useful location and pacing for dinner before a show, given the prompt food preparation and service.

Stopped here on way back home from a long weekend. The restaurant is very quaint and the décor immediately transports you to Mexico, but only if you seat by the bar or in the ample back room. No burritos, yes chips, some ambitious dishes that mostly come off. Service was a bit scattered for lunch the other day. Had the seafood salad and the seafood was quite fresh. Overall a pleasant experience but nothing remarkable.

Wasn't sure what to expect since the owners have two Indian restaurants in town too. We ate at the Oaxaca Kitchen with our daughter and her friend mid-week and the restaurant was quite quiet. The lack of ambience (I'm sure the weekends will be different) was more than made up for with the excellent food ... contemporary and imaginitive Mexican cuisine well cooked and very tasty ... don't go hoping for re-fried bean hearty mass...
