The food was fantastic. If you are looking for a good Thai restaurant go here. Fair price and the food was excellent. They also have some decent bottles of wine at a great price.

Went in for a lunch with a friend. I didn't get to experience too much of their menu, but had the Spicy Basil, with duck. Was average. Nothing special, and not spicy. When something has "spicy" in the name, and an asterisk next to it on the menu denoting it's spicy... it should actually be spicy. You shouldn't have to... More

We love good thai food. My husband usually gets a chicken stir fry like spicy basil and I usually get a curry. Tonight I got curry. They were so good! We are big into having real chicken. A lot of thai places have kinda weird chicken with a gross texture. This places has good chicken! LOL. We cant wait to... More

There isn't really a reason to give it two stars except maybe it was a bad night and I did manage to eat the meal without puking. My mother ordered me a vegetarian pad Thai with tofu. I couldn't tell it was pad Thai. There was about one peanut in it, no bean sprouts and a faint, rotting fish taste,... More

The venue is pleasant with both indoor seating and semi-outdoor seating in a glass garden-room. We have eaten here many times over the last ten years and enjoyed the food every time. This time we had five appetizers, a lot for two people. Each was delicious. I particularly like the chicken satay. My husband loved the crab rangoon. However, the other... More

We wanted Thai food; this restaurant was one of our party's favorite restaurant when she was a student here. They've added a "patio room," an enclosed room with lots of windows. Very nice. Food is quite reasonable; it's "Thai fast food." Nothing original, nothing gourmet. No substitutions - just order off the menu. We had the red curry w/tofu; the... More

I have never visited New Haven. My husband and I were pleased by the abundance of restaurants in the area. We decided to eat Thai food, as it is not as popular where we currently live, so it would be something different. I am not an Asian food expert, but I do know taste, service, value, and hygiene, which makes... More

Pad Thai restaurant at 1170 Chapel Street is my go-to restaurant for Thai food in the New Haven area. Within a short walking distance from Pad Thai, there are several Thai restaurants. I've always swayed my friends from dinning at those restaurants because I've tried all of them and decided that Pad Thai is by far the best for true... More

This is perhaps the best value meal I have had in the US. Just $7 for a truly tasty lunch of duck green curry with rice. I've just got back from Thailand and have been studying Thai cooking and the green curry was authentic. It was so good I went back the next day for the Mango Curry which also... More
