Amazing

Small place so hard to get a table but definitely worth the wait! Excellent beer and wine list. We had the poutine..yummy gravy with delicious cheese curds. The grilled cheese was oozing with outrageously delicious cheese. There was so much cheese that oozed out and grilled to perfection. The Mac... read more

Tucked away on a corner in a neighborhood of brownstones, this place oozes both cheddar and charm. Warm atmosphere, a jar of homemade cornichons on the table, and a cheese-focused eclectic menu made for a great experience. Steak tartare, sardines and clams steamed in beer and the painfully obvious mac-and-cheese choice are all top notch. Friendly service rounded out a... More

A very special place for lunch (they also have dinner hours) and absolute heaven for cheese lovers! Not a big menu, some things are a bit pricey, and not a place for a quick bite (and you probably need reservations) but top quality ingredients, inventive/different offerings and a classy yet casual setting. Five of us had lunch. First we split... More

The food is o.k, expansive, but not much special. You could have a better and cheaper dry meat or cheese in other place. The restaurant is small and dirty looks/low ceiling. We will first time in New Haven and read others reviews on this restaurant, but we were very disappointed.

This is one of the best restaurants in New Haven. They always have a nice selection of specials. Head over to their FaceBook page and take a look at the pictures you won't be disappointed.

If you're in New Haven, this place is a must. The grilled cheese and mac and cheese are absolutely delectable. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is extremely helpful in discussing cheese and wine pairings. A must go.

The best lobster mac and cheese, I have ever had. Great Poutine as well. A small and intimate space (maybe a little tight) to bring guests during the lunch hour. The cheese store next door has a great selection of hard to find and imported cheeses.

I have never had a meal here, but my spouse bought cheese from here and it was WONDERFUL. The cheese was unique (don't ask me what he bought, I don't remember), some of the best cheese I've ever had.

On our way from Philadelphia to Boston and it was lunchtime in New Haven, our off the cuff survey sent us here. How bad could it be and only 1/2 mile from Rt 95 so convenient. Well... The food was fabulous. We sat at the bar as the place was reserved full for Lunch. The food was all lovingly prepared... More
