Any Time of Year is my Favorite Time of Year for Caseus!

Great little restaurant with a cheese shop attached to it with phenomenally imaginative and delicious food with a French twist. Its small so be sure to make reservations! Try it...you will love it!

As a Quebec'er, I have been in search of one of my favorite dishes - poutine. I had heard about Caseus' version, and had to give it a try. It was absolutely delicious. There's no need for me to cross the border into Canada for my beloved poutine anymore.

Fresh homemade cheese. Locally sourced ingredients. Awesome staff. Decent prices. Outdoor seating. Need I say more? Also, I am vegetarian and they always have something scrumptious on the menu to munch on. If you're in town, try it out!! Great place for Dinner or Lunch. Or even midday snack. And they have a cheese shop downstairs where you can by... More

Incredible food and service. Unique delicious creations. Amazing. Outdoor seating available to enjoy the beautiful summers. Two of us were stuffed with just one entrée, soup, and dessert.

Finally, after the years of scare about cholesterol, there's now a cheese-oriented restaurant, and it's excellent. Very small, with tables both inside and outdoors, but a charming atmosphere. We had the daily cheese board, which consisted of four different kinds of cheeses, plus olives, gherkins, and other accompaniments. My husband had the duck, and I splurged from my diet and... More

After that amount of cheese I had here, I will probably die from the heart attack, but at least with the smile on my face :-) people who work here are extra nice and professional so it makes your stay here even better! Absolutely "must go" in New Haven :-)

My boyfriend and I had dinner here, and it was amazing. We sat at the bar, and as I mentioned to our waitress, I was disappointed to see that they don't carry Foxon Park sodas as it's locally made. To start we shared a cheese plate, which was excellent. Each cheese was described in great detail. My boyfriend got the... More

I live in downtown New Haven and hit all of the local restaurants on a regular basis. Caseus is a "go to" spot. The food is always top notch, the vibe is cool, and the wait staff is friendly and professional. Tonight I had the Moules Frites. Pretty much perfect. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth mussels, no grit, savory broth, not over-salted. Here... More

I've been to Caseus several times and have never been disappointed. We always get the cheese board appetizer because there is always something new to taste. And these folks know how to match other nibbles with whatever cheese is on offer. I split the mac and cheese with a friend, which was a good idea, as it is scrumptiously rich... More
