Top Rate Margaritas!

This place never disappoints - always great margaritas and sangria. They do individual sizes or pitchers. The food is great too - I love the nachos. I also enjoy the chips and green salsa they start with - it's perfectly spicy. It gets busy really quickly - a great go-to spot in the neighborhood.

After getting several recommendations to try Mezcal, my girlfriend and I finally did this past Saturday. Upon walking in you realize this place is not about being fancy, it's about the food. We waited for a few minutes to get our table for two. Once seated, service was prompt and attentive. We tried both the traditional and mango margaritas ....... More

We went for dinner with two kids, ages 9 and 11. Our meals were fine. The food was tasty but not outstanding in our opinion. Service was friendly and prompt. We disagree with the review that stated best guac in the state. To us, it was bland. The reason I wouldn't return: ambiance. This place reminded me of a college... More

By far the best Mexican food in CT. I normally do not eat Mexican after living in California for 5 years but this place is the real thing. Try the Alambres, you will not be disappointed. The staff is great as well.

We went on a busy Friday night, the service was ok although it took us about 10 minutes to get our beers. Our food came out in a reasonable time, don't know what the delay was. As for the food, it was delicious. I ordered the enchiladas verdes, and it was very good for CT. It's hard to come by... More

Living in Texas and having multiple trips to Mexico I have a high standard for Mexican food. This place delivered! Starting with the Salsa that has a real kick we were off to a good start. The fajitas had a mix of zucchini squash grilled with the onions that added a bit nice bonus as well as nutrition. On the... More

We don't know what is going on here...this was our favorite Mexican restaurant, but the last three times we have been there, it just hasn't been that good! Last night was pretty bad in fact, the meat in my taco was burnt, I mean black....I sent it back and got another chicken taco instead but by that time I wasn't... More

The pollo asada burrito, carne asada burrito and the carne chimichanga were Very Good the bad part was we asked for alittle extra sour cream and salsa verde. They brought both but charged EXTRA for both. They charged 1.75 per soda (no refills) ). They don't tell you that when they ask "would you like another soda". The refried beans... More

We visited this restaurant while visitng friends over 4th of July weekend and we were not disappointed. The chips are fresh and the salsa is spicy and tasty and I filled up on these before my food arrived! I left some room for my chicken tostadas, which were very good. It seems the servers all work together to make sure... More
