Dined there today with friends who have been to Poland more than once and knew what to expect. All agreed the food is authentic and excellent.

Got some to go orders yesterday. The Russian pierogis, the liver pierogis and the potato pancakes were all outstanding. My wife said that the pierogis were the best she has ever had. And remember, this was a take home order. The prices are very, very reasonable.

Their food is very good!I really like their stuffed cabbage. And their blintzes looked superb on another diner's plate. You get some ordinary rye bread and a choice of a small cold vegetable dish as appetizer (picked beets, cucumber/sour cream, etc) then a plentiful meal which can come with potato pancakes. I've been to Fatherland a couple of times and it always delivers. The pierogi and the bigos are top-notch, and they've got a great selection of bottle Polish beers, but it's the flaczki (beef tripe soup) that can't be overstated.
