Dined there today with friends who have been to Poland more than once and knew what to expect. All agreed the food is authentic and excellent.

Got some to go orders yesterday. The Russian pierogis, the liver pierogis and the potato pancakes were all outstanding. My wife said that the pierogis were the best she has ever had. And remember, this was a take home order. The prices are very, very reasonable.

Black and white murals of Polish cities decorate the... More

I've been to Fatherland a couple of times and it always delivers. The pierogi and the bigos are top-notch, and they've got a great selection of bottle Polish beers, but it's the flaczki (beef tripe soup) that can't be overstated. Reasonable prices, kind service, a quiet atmosphere and it's unassuming location in a New Britain strip-mall all but push Fatherland's... More
