We stopped in Old Mystic to walk around on a beautiful Monday afternoon in September. We stopped in Azu for a cocktail. We decided to get a couple of margaritas. They were good. We didn't get anything to eat. The restaurant was child-friendly (the only 2 tables occupied had kids). We enjoyed the open air from the front of the... More

We were strolling through Mystic and asked the local vendors where to eat and all 3 suggested Azu for happy hour from 3 to 6 everyday. You can sit at one of many tables in the restaurant, not limited to a small bar, and the wines & beers are 1/2 price. The appetizers are really "mini meals" and very generous... More

Great breakfast and a lot of food for the price. The omelets were delicious served with toast and delicious potatoes.

Stopped here on Labor Day and by chance ended up parking right in front of this restaurant. We checked out the menu outside and decided it was what we wanted and priced well. I got the fish tacos and my husband a burger. The fish tacos came with Cod and Salmon and I don't like Salmon so I asked if... More

We were on a "girls trip" and had breakfast here mid-morning. The food was outstanding. The menu had much to offer. I have to say that the food was served hot and fresh. The toast was thick bread and toasted perfectly. The service was great, even though they were short-staffed. Very reasonably priced. The restaurant opens out into mystic and... More

On our first night in Mystic we were looking for a place right downtown to eat and we found Azu. We were able to have a window seat right by the street and it was lovely. Our server was friendly and the music they were playing was a 90s summer playlist...SO FUN! I got a caesar salad with grilled salmon... More

Popped in for a spur of the moment lunch, had the wedge salad, covered with dressing, bleu cheese and bacon...yummy, crispy and fresh. Also ordered the tuna carpaccio light, tasty and delicious. Our servers were wonderful and even wrapped the incredible bread, olive oil and balsamic for us to take home.

Came into Azu the other night with friends for drinks. The bar was full when we got there and the dining room was close to empty. There were tables all around us near the doorway, but they were set for dinner, so we waited for a hostess instead of just sitting at one of them. We waited and waited and... More

My friends and I had several appetizers and drinks at the bar. The service was great, food was terrific - very delicious - and drinks were great. The bartender, Ryan, was awesome. Very friendly and provided quick service!

The food was very good, I had the fish and chips and it wasn't greasy at all. The fish was bright white and cooked very well. The real start was the Hibiscus spritzer with basil, that drink was phenomenal. It was seasonal, but I guess that means I'll have to go back every summer!
