Came into Azu the other night with friends for drinks. The bar was full when we got there and the dining room was close to empty. There were tables all around us near the doorway, but they were set for dinner, so we waited for a hostess instead of just sitting at one of them. We waited and waited and... More

My friends and I had several appetizers and drinks at the bar. The service was great, food was terrific - very delicious - and drinks were great. The bartender, Ryan, was awesome. Very friendly and provided quick service!

The food was very good, I had the fish and chips and it wasn't greasy at all. The fish was bright white and cooked very well. The real start was the Hibiscus spritzer with basil, that drink was phenomenal. It was seasonal, but I guess that means I'll have to go back every summer!

Last night, my fiancée and I dined at Azu with a couple who is moving to New England and were staying in Mystic for the weekend. We wanted to find somewhere to eat that wasn't too fancy or pricy and we came across this restaurant. The environment was laid back and it was a comfortable place to have a relaxed... More

Enjoyed a couples lunch in the street facing window seats at Azu on a quiet but beautiful mid week day in Mystic. Service was friendly, but so unhurried as to be slow. Food was high quality and served attractively. Prices are fair for the locale. Note that tables, particularly in the window areas, are close together. Choose when you want... More

I remember when you couldn't get a table in Azu for love nor money. It was busy as busy can be...great food, great fun, and great value. That was last year. That was not today. 6:00pm on a Friday. Lots of empty tables. Lots and lots. OK fun and OK food. OK value. Mystic is very competitive with lots of... More

The family was spending a few hours shopping around Mystic and we were hungry for lunch. There were several choices nearby and Azu caught our eye. The menu was varied, including flatbread pizzas and some seafood, etc - but prices were above average it seemed. Service was mediocre (we felt more like an inconvenience than a valued customer). The food... More

Went with a friend and my daughter - I had the cold lobster roll and a coke, my daughter had the lobster Mac and cheese. Both delicious. There were some ladies next to us who has some delicious-looking summer drinks but sadly I did not partake. Next time maybe.

Had a fun time one of the bartenders was a bit too serious but the other staff balanced it out. We popped in for dinner the next night but the wait was far too long. Fun spot, great setup too!
