My wife and I stopped for an early evening bite to eat. We each had a cold lobster roll and fries along with a cold soda. Wow, a large portion of lobster on a hot toasted bun which was delicious. I would not hesitate to stop there again. A real nice place on the river. It is close to Mystic... More

The Sea View isn't exactly on the sea, but you can see Mystic Seaport Museum and the tall masted ships very well from the seating areas (picnic tables). It is lovely to sit out there on a summer day and eat delicious seafood while enjoying a breeze off the water. The place was very crowded when we went for lunch... More

This "restaurant" is right near Mystic Seaport and worth the trip out of the seaport for good food. I love fried whole belly clams and have a place near my home that makes them from scratch- these at Sea View paled in comparison ... I thought that perhaps they're pre-battered. My husband had the lobster roll and it was very... More

This snack bar had decent food and a nice view right on the water. Prices were fair for a tourist seafood place and the staff was friendly and moved quickly. I had hoped for better quality crab cakes, but it did the job. The best part of the meal was the icecream next door!

Many menu choices from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to crab shakes to please everyone in your party. During the day you maybe able to catch the juniors sailing in a race on the river. Prices seem comparable to the area. You can also walk on the path to twisters. Only a port-a-potty on sight. Located between the Seaport and... More

Lobster roll sufficient for the price. Clam strips like any other. Fench Fries well, they were French Fries. The View, Priceless.

I spent $90 on dinner and drinks for 3. We walked to the ice cream shack next door. Fun, but again expensive for the genre.

The Sea View is a nice outside dining location. It is typical seaside food. However, you are paying for the view, which by the way, is spectacular. I had an order of fried scallops (no fries or sides). It cost $17 and there were only 7 scallops. My wife had a order of shrimp, also no fries or sides. She... More

Outdoor snack bar with typical sandwiches, fries & seafood. Next door is their ice cream stand. What more could you want? How about table views of Mystic river & The Mystic Seaport. Good food & location.

The "Sea View" actually has a river view, but it's next to a cemetery, so it's quiet here at 6 pm in early June despite being on a busy road. (Left turns out of the parking lot can be tough, though.) The paved parking lot is small. There are benches, with some shade, for sit-down eating, which is probably your... More
