We had a very inexpensive (Fish'n'Chips with a medium Dr. Pepper = ca. $16, including taxes) but delicious dinner right next to the seaside. Would recommend this place especially for people looking for an uncomplicated but nice dinner with a nice, maritime ambience.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of eating at the Sea View. The food was delish and very good, the view was spectacular. I would highly recommend dining there.

About 2:30 pm on a Sunday, my hunger got the best of me. I've eaten @ this outdoor eatery before and the food has been consistently good so the flounder dinner was mine. I'd forgotten that just the fish "side" may have been enough to satisfy me. Tables are set under a canopy as well as under the open sky... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on the way into Mystic. This is one of our favorite places for a reason - good food, quick service and a location that can't be beat. Today I had a juicy and delicious burger and my wife enjoyed fried chicken. Everything was well made and you can't beat eating lunch while... More

The food was ok to good. Good lobster roll, burger, ff, etc. adjacent to the mystic river. It is outdoors and is hot in the sunny summer and cold and/or wet at other times.

Nice place to visit on a sunny day. Located close to the Aquarium and Mystic Seaport. The food is no-frills, simple but great and reasonably priced. The lobster roll and fish sandwich are really good. The place is Outdoor seating only. Great water views.

My wife and I stopped for an early evening bite to eat. We each had a cold lobster roll and fries along with a cold soda. Wow, a large portion of lobster on a hot toasted bun which was delicious. I would not hesitate to stop there again. A real nice place on the river. It is close to Mystic... More

The Sea View isn't exactly on the sea, but you can see Mystic Seaport Museum and the tall masted ships very well from the seating areas (picnic tables). It is lovely to sit out there on a summer day and eat delicious seafood while enjoying a breeze off the water. The place was very crowded when we went for lunch... More

This "restaurant" is right near Mystic Seaport and worth the trip out of the seaport for good food. I love fried whole belly clams and have a place near my home that makes them from scratch- these at Sea View paled in comparison ... I thought that perhaps they're pre-battered. My husband had the lobster roll and it was very... More
