We went to Mystic Pizza not expecting much. What we found was a bustling, friendly, charming place with the added plus of REALLY good food. The salad was excellent and the pizza was among the best we've ever enjoyed. It was a terrific place for lunch!

We were in Mystic and HAD to eat at the famous pizza place. It was so much better than we expected. The pizza (house special) was excellent (a slice of heaven!), the salad we shared was also very good, the service was perfect and I would go back anytime. It was the best lunch we had on our trip!

Great place for a nice, inexpensive dinner while in the Mystic - Groton area. Great pizza, homey atmosphere and the signature beers on the menu were definitely worth a try. We had been there years before when our kids were much younger, and were pleased to see that nothing had really changed - including the pizza. Just as we had... More

the pizza is at best average, the food is poor. Very very few locals ever eat here.. the occasional takeout pizza at best and this place gets its entire business based upon the movie "Mystic Pizza" with which it has absolutely zero connection. a triumph of marketing over food quality.

The only downside to the pizza place was that we weren't greeted right away and weren't sure where to go to order. We kind of waited around for a few minutes before trying to go find someone. After finding the bar (the only place you can get the pizza for lunch if you are doing take out) we ordered a... More

Pizzas were actually pretty good and our waitress did a decent job to cater for us all. However the decor of the place is a mess and does not provide a good sitting to enjoy the food though the kids loved it as they had seen the movie recently, and this really the only reason you might want to go... No, the building is not the same old Victorian clapboard building you see in the movie, and clearly Julia Roberts isn't going to be your waitress tonight. But you'll have one of the best pizzas of your life. We went on probably the rainiest night in August 2014 and my husband, who hadn't seen the movie, thought it was going... More

This review is merely about a visit to Mystic Pizza cause of the movie. I didn't eat here, just stopped by after visit from Mystic Seaport 7 minutes away. I wanted to buy a tee shirt and see the pizza shop in the movie. It doesn't exist like that. The movie wasn't really filmed here. The shop renovated the front... More

We go here every couple months but it is not our go to spot for pizza in the area. I actually like their grinders/subs better than the pizza. Parking is tough and it's busy during tourist season. It's also pricey for a pizza house.

Fun, hopping place. Good pizza. Inspired the Julia Roberts' movie of the same name. Good service. Recommended. Bring the whole family.
