But for a great waitress don't waste your time or money ...unless you are willing to sacrifice your hearing. Loud noisy crass careless crowd....very disappointing

We visited Bravo Bravo while staying overnight in Mystic, on the way home after picking up our daughter at camp in New Hampshire. While walking downg in downtown Mystic, we looked at the menu, which looked incredibly good to my wife and I, but my daughter wasn't too sure. The hostess quickly let her know tht the chef could do... More

I number of times i have been fooled by the good reviews others have given certain restaurants. We've all done it -- gone to a restaurant with high expectations , just because it has earned a four or five star rating, or a neighbor says it's wonderful, and then leave totally disappointed and wondering how on earth did this happen.... On a Sunday night the place was jammed! It's obviously popular. Started with an outstanding, made from scratch Marguerita; would have liked to have had two, but that would have been unwise. Food (angel hair oregano and penne with lots of add-ons) was very good. Ambiance is the negative - small, very crowded tables and hard surfaces everywhere to bounce... More

This place is very pricey..the hostess was not very friendly. The tables are very close together...you could hear the conversation of the peole next to you. The menue is not very easy to understand. very loud

the dining room resembles a school hall.. tables are jammed, there is no room and no sound deadening.. it is perpetually loud and if you imagined an intimate dinner for two, or a quiet dinner and conversation with your friends.. this is NOT the place. It is expensive, without the food quality to match... at best the food is average... More

Good service crab cakes are ok, good osso busso, great lobster risotto. The bean dip for bread is great! We normally go to s and p oyster definitely 2nd best for us. A bit of a small menu but with it.

I went to this restaurant with a bunch of girls for a bachelorette party. We were there on a Friday, so it was understandably busy. There were also 8 of us, so we were rather a large party I suppose. Our reservation was for 8 and they seated us right away. Water and bread were brought fairly quickly and our... More

We ate in the main restaurant about a month ago. 4 adults and 2 small children. We loved all our entries. The crab cake appetizer was delicious. The best I ever had. The waitress, Peggy memorized our order and delivered our meals with no mistakes. The setting is intimate but as the room gets full the volume does increase but... More

My husband and I eat out a lot and we have to say that this was one of the best meals we have been served! We made reservations and had dinner at Bravo Bravo on a Wednesday night. For the most part we chose from the Specials menu and started with Tuna tartar topped with egg yolk (amazingly fresh), corn... More
