Wives birthday

We visited here the other night to celebrate our wives birthdays. The food and staff were excellent and the environment was very relaxed. The only complaint I would have is that it may be too dimly lit at night. We were not the only ones using our phones as flashlights.

My sister & I did not want a huge dinner so decided on a late lunch/early dinner. We were downtown Mystic & found Bravo Bravo. Modern not overly decorated, waitress was friendly & courteous. We choice 2 appetizers each. They bring bread with an amazing hummes, olives & olive oil dip. My sister had the tomato, moz, arugula salad &... More

Visited Bravo Bravo on a Sunday afternoon for a leisurely dinner, early enough to snag one of the covted window seats. Wait staff is courteous and prompt, and our meals were quick to arrive. Fabulous steak (they only have one), done to perfection with a bourbon sauce and gorgonzola. Had a lot of fun watching the parade of cars on... More

We tried to eat across the square at the Oyster House but it was a very long wait. Bravo Bravo wasn't right on the water, but the service was excellent and the food was really good. I had the Penne Bolognese which as really really good. The atmosphere is less naughtical and more upscale and modern. We enjoyed it very... More

Folks were nice. Had a reservation and was seated right away, Nice wine list but pricey. I had a special - Shrimp & Grits made with a Worchester sauce - way to salty, My husband had the Champagne Lobster Risotto which was so good. Sorry for the average rating but maybe I hit an off day with the special.

Under TripAdvisor's system, three dots = average, and four dots = very good. Really more than three but not four for this restaurant. In this somewhat touristy town, Bravo Bravo offers everything you'd expect: a nice atmosphere, professional service, and good food. Happily, there were quite a few local residents the evening we were there, which I consider a plus.... More

A charming place with excellent food. The scallops were absolutely perfect with a generous serving of pappardelle pasta. The place is small with modern decor. Servers were very friendly and I'd go back next time I was in town.

Food is good, service is spotty and it is so noisy, it is really difficult to carry on a conversation. Part of the problem is the lack of space between tables. This plus it being an old restaurant with little attempt to dampen the sound detracts from the dining experience. In spite of this, reservations are a must.

This place has consistently great food and they don't mind large parties - even when they did not expect them! The salmon is very good as is the mac and cheese. Basically everything I have eaten there is delicious. I cannot recommend it any more if I was paid to!
